does any one kno how to fix a psp. my screen just went offline even when the system is on. the screen just stays black and nothing else happens. please help.

hmmm....your psp might be shot. If your positive its not in sleep mode. Its hasent happened to my Psp, but its happened to my old Tv... where it showed that it was on but the screen was black as well. Any who, go to where you bought it if you still have a warrenty on yours. They should just give you another one.

maybe u accidentally locked it. sometimes my psp goes to sleep and then i accidentally flip the power switch down and lock the psp. it was hilarious cause i thought it might be broken but i just had to unlock it.

Your PSP is bricked. Which means you are screwed. Once a PSP is bricked theres nothing you can do for the poor thing. A brick happens when you mess with your PSP's flash. It can also be that you got a virus called trojan. Or you could have done something while it was upgrading or downgrading firmwares. What all this means is that your PSP is now as useful as a brick. Pretty harsh, good luck.
