Well, Sara and myself have been discussing it and we've decided to do it a bit more organized than how we used to. So in here, you can change your username if you wish. It will probably take 12-36 hours for us to do it, as well. Though, there are conditions;

1. You can only have 1 username change. Past that, you cannot change back. And if someone takes your username, tough. There are very rare occasions when we give users 2 changes.

2. We will be keeping a list in this thread for users changing their names, so no fooling us. =P

3. You must be a premium user or at least have been a dedicated member for at least 5 months with 300 posts. This is to reduce the dozens upon dozens of requests we might get otherwise. If you don't follow the said conditions of name changes, then don't bother posting in here, please.

4. Please post your current username and then the username you would like us to change it to. Try not to post anything else other than that.

We have these rules in place so that we can keep a better control and sense of organisation over name changes. A lot of members fit into one or the other category. It is like a reward for being an active member for so long. You earn your name change in effect.

If we start making exceptions for x person or y person we might as well throw the entire system in the trash.

I dont post much, so it is kinda unfair to me, I have been active though. I kinda choose what Im going to write, Im not that kind of person who posts to every thread.

I just dont see the point in post count, because if you look at my posts I didnt just register and post all of my posts in one week later on.

Yes one could earn 300 posts in a day, which is why we also have the requirement that they have been a member for at least 5 months. Besides, anyone that spams their way to 300 posts in a day is known about by the staff and will be dealt with.

It is good that you think about what you are going to write but that doesn't mean we should change the rules to suit you. They were not created to be unfair to you. They were created to make a fair base point for every member. It is something that every member can achieve and it is not impossible to do.

You will not be getting a name change until you meet BOTH requirements.

The only reason you disagree with there being a post count too is because you don't meet it.

The most important is being active and I just checked and I have posted on 2007, 2008 january-june and september-october. : D

You are not getting a name change.

You will not be getting a name change until you have 300 posts. Just like everyone else who worked to fit the requirements. You are no different than any other member and allowances will not be made.

This will not change.

Deal with it and accept it. Rules are rules.
