Yes, it's true, the two studious that were currently at work with the film decided to stop film production and cancel the movie. Due to a noob director who was going to be entrusted with a 200 million-dollar budget, the film has been plugged.

Well, with a noob director it might've been terrible and people would've hated Halo. The budget was over 200 million and with a director without much experience at all, it wasn't too wise. I don't think they have even began production, so it wouldn't have made 2007 anyways.:cool:

i'm not surprised. The htought of a halo movie was too good to be true.
Oh well, it probably would have been a disappointment anyway.

Sucks. I really wanted to see a movie about wit-talking generals shooting stuff and flying through space. There's just not enough of that anymore(!)

actually, he was producing it. he wasn't directing.
