A Stupid Question About Zexion....

Okay...Zexion has the power to look like someone else, through illusion (as seen on Destiny Islands). When he cloaks himself like that, does he gain their abilities, traits, ect? Or does he just look like them?

I'm not sure only Nomura knows for sure but Since he made a copy of the soras keyblade it may be possible Remember fighting Zexion? It is a good clue in my opinion but not 100% guranteed
