I suggest only using filters in certain ways, mate.

Read some tutorials at gamerenders or planetrenders.net. Those two have tons of great tuts to learn from. =]

I would say that you should run a ripple filter on those brush strokes and then smudge it a little bit with a splatter brush.
Then, erase what's over the face of the render.

A vector sytle is a very easy style to learn, that can give grea results in the long run. Try learning vector and it'll be easier to learn other things...=D

Photomanipulation is when you use the image itself to add effects to the image. You don't use brushes or any added colors. You can use filters to edit a signature. Ripple, Ocean Ripple, Spray Spatter, Spatter, etc., are all very handy filters to use for this.

thats pretty good.lol i see a heard in the pic around sora which is nifty.Oh dont use the KH font just because its KH lol.It doesnt look that good actually.Use something diff like arial or some fancy text.Also the square on the heads doenst look satisfying.trying to get the effect close to the face but not actually on it.Thats how you blend in your stock/render.Otherwise very good job.

The first one is awesome,the negative space feel lol.i like how you only concentrated on the focal point.

Second one is awesome. THe left side is gorgeous. The effects are very nice. The right side is kind of good, but is lacking the necessary depth that the left side has. The liquified part kills it, IMO. Also, the face is too sharp. It kind of makes it look low quality, imo.


Another thing I notice in almost all of your pieces are floating heads. FLOATING HEADS ARE BAD! xD When you make a sig, it's never a bad thing to move a stock up to the point where the eyes meet the top of the sig. I always make it so the foreheads are right up at the top. That way when I add effects you can still see the shoulders of the person I have there. Floating heads are usually what kill sigs--when they have amazing effects, it can even mess that up.

Work in some more colors mate. Your depth, flow and focal are really nice.

The second one, I think the right side looks a little too liquified and the stock looks a little low quality.

it was a huge stock,i resized it down though.the reason i put it on a long canvas was because i wanted to capture alot of effects on it.if its my usual size than it would be all cramped up.and it wouldnt look that good.Thanks for the CnC

Scoot the spacey effects over to the right, ditch the lineart render, crop out part of the left side and make the effects less noticeable than the stock, which should be the focal point.
