Why did this get changed?

During the promotional video, it shows Sora fighting Larxene in a rectangular room. Why did this change to just a circle room?

The best answer that I can think of is that that the promtional video used battles from their protoype. I sort of wish that they kept it that way tho. It's so much more roomier and looks alot cooler. Just my theory, and opinion on the matter. :)

It is kind of weird changing it, if they kept it as the rectangle room it would actually look more like you were in Castle Oblivion.

Also, how come during the scene with Roxas, and Xemnas they use English voiceovers, but in the game there are no voices?

Those are CLEARLY recycled voiceclips. They sound so fake I screamed xDDD

I'm probably wrong...but I think that they didn't use the voices in the game (and only in the theatre thing) because they might not have had room?
It's only a guess but, I think since they already had so much in it that maybe if they added voices the game would um...blow up?
Maybe not, that doesn't make much sense...Maybe they just did it to irritate everyone.

You actually battle Marluxia in the room in question. Why you battle him in a regular room and get transported to a distant battle arena for everyone else is a weird mystery.

Hmm.. When I played through it, the closest thing to a rectangular room I noticed is where you fight her on one of the floor corridors. I know what you mean, though. I think in the PV, it showed Sora battling her in what looked like the room where Naminé was being held captive.

It took you a while into the game to reach that level where Naminé's room is, so maybe they originally planned for you to fight her for the first time much later on in the game, which would alter how you fought her in the original CoM.. I dunno.
