Yeah that movie was cool, I cry at the part where Mufasa dies, but now I don't watch it very often, although I remember the story line.

It is a nice movie. And the world in Kingdom Hearts is so fun!

Yea it's a good movie... Great songs. Although I think in Kingdom Hearts the world was too short.

Yeah, same here. But since this is a topic to discuss the movie, let's not talk about KH here :P

The Lion King, I would have to say, is one of my favourite Disney Movies. I don't cry when Mufasa dies, but I feel sad, that's for sure. I mean, betrayed by your kin and family...

The 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' song is awesome cause it's being sung by Elton John.

I was totally obsessed with this movie when I was little. I had a pair of summer shorts that had Simba on the front, and his butt on my back. My parents had to buy me like, 5 pairs of the same thing I wore it so much. -_____________-

The Lion King is one of my favorite Disney films. I don't really cry easily during movies so I didn't cry when Mufasa died, but I felt sad. One of my most favorite parts would be when Rafikki is kicking out some kung-fu on the hyenas. xD

I also loved Lion King 1/2

I've seen it. It's really good. Have you guys ever seen the broadway play? It's amazing.

I also seen Lion King 1/2. It's funny as hell.

Yeah, I watched the musical for a critique assignment I had to do back in high school. It was really good though--lots of songs not in the movies.

Does anyone else notice that if you consider the coupling in The Lion King 2, Kiara is actually dating her 'second-degree' uncle? O_o The Animal Kingdom has such surreal ethics.

Lion King has been given so many awards... it's by far the best Disney Movie ever made:D
My grandma has in on Video so I was watching it all the time at her house, now I have the special edition DVD with "Morning Report" I think it was Lion King that made me intrested in the music of Elton John, he's amazing! Can You Feel the Love Tonigth (the movie version:p) is the most beutiful song in the movie.
I also like "Just can't wait to be king"

Did you know that Lion King was the first Disney-film (if not the first cartoon at all) to be dubbed in zulu? The producers figured as it was set in Africa, they had to dub it in that too:D Finding voice actors from local schools and such.

I actually saw that movie over 4 times in theaters when I was little. After it came out on VHS...my mom still complains how I wore out the tape by watching it every day for three months consecutively.
Ah, the memories...

I remember when i first saw this, i was like 6 years old n' it was a school trip to the cinema. I cried at the death of Mufasa, just a wee tear & the wee boy beside me held my hand.

Anyhoo it's still one of my favourite movies. :D
