Dam you should read The Great Gatsby.
I think it's one of the greatest books written.
Also If you haven'tread it, you should read A Seperate Peace.

The Dragonriders of Pern series. It may seem lengthy but don't let that scare you.
Everworld If you can find the series in it's entirety please read. It's by the same author as Animorphs but I'd take Everworld any day.
The Dragon Quartet If fantasy/sci-fi is your thing then please give this a try.

2. Angelas Ashes
3. Eragon
4. Pendragon (of course)

Angelas Ashes and Kite Runner are very different then the others. Its about a boy growing up in Ireland, and is a very good read. Kite Runner is another book about a boy growing up, this time in Afghanistan. It is a very good novel.

Hmm..I'd reccommend Maximum Ride. It's a really good series that I think just finished...but it's about a group of kids who were experimented on and got wings. It sounds corny, but it's actually pretty well written and has a great storyline.

1) Harry Potter series - well, I'm sure you've heard of this one...it's a fantasy/adventure story that we all know and love...and sometimes hate. XD But I enjoyed it. :)
2) The Wish - written by Gail Carson Levine, it is a romance/fantasy story, set in a normal school setting, when a girl's wish is granted by a witch (under the pretense of a human) she helped out. Now, she is the most popular girl at school...but there are some complications...which of course, you must find out yourself. xP
3) Two Princesses of Bamarre - yes, another Gail Carson Levine story, this is a romance/fantasy/adventure story now. It is about two princesses, and when the older one catches a deadly illness, the younger one sets out on an adventure to find the cure for it. It can sound very cliche, but trust me, it's a great, unique story! XD
4) Ella Enchanted - by Gail Carson Levine (again! lol), it's about a girl who's under a curse (was supposed to be a blessing however...) to obey any order given to her. Consequently, she sets out to try to find the fairy so she can get rid of this...bit of a Cinderella-style, but not at all childish. A great mixture of magic, advneture, and fantasy...and romance of course! XD
5) A Great and Terrible Beauty series - a wonderful adventure/fantasy story, with a tinge or romance and mystery...
There's a couple of more great books I know...but there's too many, and I'm tired of writing (probably unnecessary) summaries for them. lol But these are some of the best, although not put in numerical order.

Harry Potter
A Clockwork Orange (This is a really good book, and not just becuase it has the word orange in the title. XD. It's kind of like 1984 in the way that it portrays a futuristic, depressing, scary society. But it's also like 1984 in the way that it is a classic.)
Uglies trilogy
LoTR
There's more becuase I read tons of books but I just can't think of them all right now.
