Time to get down to business, Eclipse, TBK and all you sweatshop workers need to get at least one of these assignments done by friday the 22nd.

Option 1:
Make a black and white tag, but dont just take a tag you have already made and make it black and white.
Some things to pay attention to when making a black and white tag is contrast and lighting. you should work on balancing the contrast out so you have an equal amount of lights and darks so your tag isnt dominated by white colors or black colors, work in some gray for the midtones too.
Lighting is tough, cuz if you just add a bright white light source and make it black and white, you have a big white bright spot in your final product. work on creating a natural light source.

Option 2:
Create a tag that doesnt use a stock as a focal point.
some ideas for this are using Text as your focal point, do an abstract smudge tag, or use C4Ds to create an abstract scenery. but feel free to get creative with some other ideas you have.

Option 3:
Make a large piece that successfully uses 3 or more colors in it.
Tips on colors, look up analogous colors in color theory, or split complementarys.

experimenting and trying new things is how you learn. ;)

Cin, on yours, you should work on incorporating some depth into the letters. transform>perspective on the text layer and make it look like the text is popping out.
also get some shadows goin in there to create depth.

TBK, yours is nice too, but theres that spot on the right side that bugs me. its plain black and the stuff directly near it cuts off to gray really quickly. also you should work in a light source since right now its kinda dark.

And TBK...um...I don't know whatto tell ya. I have no idea what exactly it is or what you're trying to do, so I can't suggest anyhing that may help you get the results you wanted.

Theres room for improvement sasuke ;)
take out the sora stock, since i assume you are doing number 2 and then remove the stroke from the text.
after that work on the effects you have for you background and create a flow that leads down to one center point that you want to be the main focus of your tag.
If you do that, i think you will see a lot of improvement in this :)

Well imo, neither of the borders work with this tag.
All of your backgrounds look like youre doing the same thing to them, you should put more blacks into the background and smudge it around some so theres shadows and depth, and then put a light source in there, since that always helps for depth.
