Final Fantasy 8

Most likely to be one of the most emotional and greatest Final Fantasy games ever made...well, in my opinion, it is.

I swear, this game has so many emotional cutscenes that it really brings the characters to life. I have to admit, Magic is really a bummer in this game though since you need to 'extract' it from other monsters or get it from draw points :(

Wat are your opinions on this?

Yeah, I heard alot about it too. Though I've heard that it's one of the most disliked FF games out there...can't believe it though. I reckon it's really good :p

Yeah, like everyone says X-2 was horrible, but I LOVED it.

People don't know what they're talking about somtimes.

Rai and Fuijin (Fuu) are in it, (and I also thought that X-2 was great too but again, I'm going off topic), Selphie is in it...I think that's it. My brain right now is down. Of course, those are all the guys in KH2 that appear.

I loved FFVIII, but I lost interest after a while, it just didn't appeal to me as much as it should.

Umm, by what I heard of it, it was good, but I haven't actually played it, what's like the plotline?

The (main) playable characters in FFVIII are: Squall Leonheart, Quistis Trepe, Zell Dincht, Selphie Tilmitt, Rinoa Heartilly and (my personal favorite) Ivrine Kinneas -- and also Laguna Loire, Kiros Seagill and Ward Zaback, in the 'dream sequences'.


Of course, there are plenty of other characters that aren't playable, but, I don't know all of their names.

And, er, 1winged, I'm not sure how to explain the plot. It gets really confusing to just read, without actually playing it.

Ah FFVIII, one of my favourite Final Fantasy Games. Disliked by many why? More than likely because it followed Final Fantasy VII.

To this day though, it still does have some of the best Cutscenes of any game, from it's Stunning Intro to Squall and Rinoa's Dance scene and the Ragnarok attacking the Lunatic Pandora.

This game did truly not live up to my expectations. Disappointing but not terrible. I'm only on disk 2, anyway.

I haven't played many FF games at all but I think this is my second favorite with FFX being my favorite. At first I didn't like the game at all because of the junction system and other things but after you get a bit into the game, the story really grows on you and becomes addictive. I think it was disliked because it was a love story game but still one of the best.

I like this game (never played it and has hunted about town for it to no avail but I've watched people playing it on youtube).
I love how the characters are so much younger than they normally were in the past.
List of Characters worth describing.
Squal:good lookin and wears tight pants with four belts (=Sexy but is too quiet and reserved).
Quistis: Gorgeous teacher, is always kind and not mean or married to the rules (The whip as a weapon was so suggestive).
Zell: Joker and obbsessed with hotdogs (implies something there if you ask me)
Seifer: Dislike annoying people who claim sexy Emo's have just hit puberty when he himself has a soft child's face.
Selphie: I like her a fair bit (she didn't rob me and was only slightly annoying as far as I've seen).
Rinoa: Cute, bubbly (Should be called Sasha though XD) and loves being kind (a good non-trampy version of Tifa with Aerith's lovely attitude).
Irvine:Pretty face and so had dirty mags under his bed!!!
Edea: Evil against her will (but was fun when in your party).

FF VIII is my favourite out of the series, and all too often it is overlooked. People, instead of examining it as a separate game, examine whether it's features were similar to FF VII's, and then judge it harshly.
