Okay. After seeing quite a few -nameless- active debate threads, I constantly see posts that are completely not intelligent and still say things like....
"It's just the way it works man!!"
Okay. This is the debate section, first of all. It's intelligent. You don't yell at someone for a different view point. Give good resources and reasons why you know something to be true.
"Well, I find it to be more of this this and this. If you go here you'll see why I believe so."
This is a lot better than before. It's not totally specific, but it's a minimum if you plan on winning an argument in this section, or to get some reputation.
Now, if you're a member who posts three very long paragraphs for your reasoning.......good! You're more than welcome to debate here if it's your passion. It's always encouraging.
But when you're debating make sure to 1) not use txt-tlk. Seriously. Grammar, punctuation and spelling is a must in an intelligent section. 2) Be mature. If you lose an argument, it's no big deal. There are plenty of other things to debate about. Don't be bad sport, you'll have your glory soon enough. And finally, 3) try and have FUN with your debates! It's freedom of choice to choose what you want to debate about, just make sure you're following all the said guidelines, as well as having fun with it to make it easy on us staff. :P
So with that said, have at it.
