There is absolutely no question that Axel would win. As much as I love Demyx, he never wanted to fight Sora cause he was a wimp! Axel, on the other hand, was able to fill an entire room in flames!

Demyx, definitly, could he summon the courage to fight Axel hard core. Demyx was ten times as hard as Axel, plus Demyx was not a wimp minus his water clones. He was blasting around the arena like crazy in between.

Well, I haven't fought Axel in KH2 FM+ but the only reason he's easy to defeat is because it's the start of the game so it should be easy, but Demyx is further into the game. It's sort of a tie, but if anyones seen the Twilight town thing for RE: CoM then you will notice that Axel clicks his fingures and Vexen explodes:( :(

I'd say it would be pretty close. People keep on saying Demyx would win because water puts out fire, but overestimate the power of H20. Haven't you watched firefighters trying to put out a fire? That **** is hard to put it out. We're not talkin' a tiny little flame on the end of a match. In most likelihood, fire would turn the water into steam, while being cancelled out at the same time.

As for a sitar not being a very dangerous weapon... You should see the scars on Sora's behind from all the times I got that reaction command wrong. >_< I got beaten by Demyx like ten times. And not just by the water clones. (That only accounted for 3 out of ten deaths.)

Also, you have to take into consideration that Demyx and Axel, being in the same organization, are aware of each others capabilities. So they probably won't underestimate each other like many Organization members did for Sora. (That's probably why they died off so easily. :o)

Demyx would beat Axel. If you consider all the little facties, Demyx was the only member in KH2 smart enough to test Sora before going in for the attack. He still lost, of course, but did Axel do any better? Honestly, no. True, Axel caused Vexen to burst into flames with a snap of his fingers, but who weakened him enough to make it possible? I think it was that brown-haired kid. What's his name? Oh yeah, Sora.

Demyx was hard as crap, and was fast. Axel had chakram, but Demyx had a sitar. That controls freakin' water! And for those who don't know, Axel doesn't need to be put out by the water to be hurt by it. You ever stood under a waterfall? It's hard. And it hurts. So, based on all the little facts, I say Demyx would win, but not dominate, the fight.

To me Axel would wins hands down. He is just a little more cunning then Demyx. Plus Axel can do that teleport type of thing and come up behind you and pretty much do damage really quick. So my choice has to be Axel.

Sure the elements an advantage for Demyx, but it's not good, if the person who can control that water element is so weak.
Eh, way too much of a disadvantage, and Demyx seems the type to like playing music more than fighting in the first place while Axel could've been more of a pyro and could easily set his cloak on fire.

In a battle of pure magic fight, there's little getting around that Demyx would win. Nine times out of ten, water beats fire, and creating steam would put both fighters at a disadvantage, unless they can blind fight. Even if putting out large fires can be hard(especially super intense trailer fires), water still puts it out eventually.

Demyx is clearly more of a mage/bard, so in those kind of fights, he would win far easier than people think. Demyx is not to be underestimated, and I don't think Axel is foolish enough to dismiss Demyx as "weak".

In a physical fiight, Axel would win hands down. He is a warrior through and through. Demyx is not. So, really, they'd be on the same level with different strengths and weaknesses.

But anyway, I'd say Axel would win. Demyx seems to avoid a fight at all costs and would likely surrender than fight against Axel.

But if a fight did happen...I'd almost say the elements would cancel each other out. Axel could just make steam out of Demyx's water dancers and Demyx would just make Axel very wet. {Which would cause a sea of fangirls. xD}

Even if Demyx has got the upper hand in elements, he's still a bit wishy-washy when it comes to fighting. Axel's a pretty intense fighter on the battle field, so he'd really go all out.

Axel would SO pwn Demyx!! He may be fire elemental,but he is better at fighting. Well,in my opinion,anyways. Axel never got killed,he practically committed suiside. How many times did he fight Sora AND Roxas?? And,he survived. Demyx IS a tough cookie,he withstood 2 assults from Sora. But,the fire and water would turn to steam. They would give up on their elemental attacks,and start fighting with their weapons alone. Soon enough,Axel would have The Melodius Nocturne on his knees....so,Axel would win...

Truthly Demyx. After all, if you haven't noticed, the shape of their attack are relatively the same. Its true water can take out fire and Axel's not limited to fire, but then again neither is Demyx. (He did have an attack where he would hit you with his guitar, and it DOES do damage)

So all in all, Demyx would still probably win.

Axel can just use his supernova flame attack. (The move that he did to kill all of the Nobodies, but he killed himself.) He can just, not put so much power in it. :P
