Okay I just started to play KH again today and I was thinking whos is that guy in the cave where you getone of the mushrooms from and does he have anything to do with Anmes the wise?

He is Xeanhort's heartless - also called Ansem in the first game -
I'm thinking you've played KH2, so you should know Xeanhort was Ansem's stundent. Xeanhort's nobody is of course Xemnas which you probably already know. :)

Ya, tis Xehanort's heartless. Of course we have no real proof but I think I rememeber his cloak was brown so he couldnt be of the Org.

Actually there is pretty solid proof that that guy was Ansem. In Hollow Bastion we saw him possess Riku. While Riku was posessed, he called himself Ansem.

Therefore, the guy in the brown cloak is Ansem.
