Castle Oblivion

Where exactly is Castle Oblivion? It seems to be in the same world as the crossroads, but what world is that?

The crew lost the Gummi Ship (which they later get from Yen Sid), killed Xehanort's Heartless, and then I guss found the path. O.o

But i thought that the end of the world was destroyed once kingdom hearts was opened and Xehanort's heartless was destroyed. How could it be in a world that doesn't exist?

The end of the world...isn't an actual world. It's the result of all the worlds that were destroyed and brought back together. So, yeah, you could consider it destroyed seeing as though the worlds were restored.

Castle Oblivion is just in a paradox world. IMO. It looks all....parodoxy T__T

Ya know, that's a really good question. It might be the "End of the World". But I think that it's part of the World That Never Was.

Could Castle Oblivion exist in the same world that the battle in the secret ending exists? The battle in the secret ending happens at the crossroads. Sora stumbles on the crossroads later, and one of the paths lead him to Castle Oblivion.

The World That Never Was is in the Realm of Darkness, so I don't think Castle Oblivion is as well : I don't know about you, but the last thing I expect to see in the Dark Realm are sunshiny meadows...

My guess is that Castle Oblivion is located in the dimension of nothingness where DiZ was exiled by Xehanort. When Riku arrives at the crossroads, DiZ gives him a choice of three roads : light, darkness and twilight. Which means the road Riku is coming from leads to a fourth world. The same goes for Sora, who apparently came from the road of light, and followed Marluxia to Castle Oblivion.

The crossroads are very importante in KH : they represent the place between all worlds. It probably means that this place itself isn't truly located anywhere and can appear in all four Realms. I believe there were numerous theories about where the four roads lead, but to me it's light, darkness, twilight and nothingness.

So Castle Oblivion likely exists in the realm of nothingness. The World that Never Was exists in the realm of darkness. Most of the worlds that we travel to are located in the realm of light. But what exists in the realm of twilight? Twilight Town? That place feels like it should belong to the light.

This also implies that in the secret ending, all the soldiers are coming from different realms. Which means that the battle must happen after the original world has separated.
