I'll never ever be able to play any of the new KH's in my life becasue I have no PSP, no nintendo DS, no Japanese mobile phone and no PS3 (for future titles) and I'll certainly not be getting them ever... I'm just too broke.

It's so not fair that they are releasing each of the games on so many different platforms. A lot of people wil struggle to get to play all of them. As for me I'll never even get to play one.

Does anyone else think SE shouldn't be doing this bull?

This is like an end to the KH series for me. It's a shame, because SE won't be getting my pocket money no more.

I really don't mind. I already had a DS since launch, so that's OK. I've wanted to get a PSP for a while now, so that's fine too. And the mobile game... well, I'm not planning on getting that, since it's just a puzzle game. I'll just watch the cutscenes online.

Of course, I'd rather have these games on the PS2, but that just isn't gonna happen.

Kairi245 I think you should take the PSP, because Birth By Sleep is gonna be the closest to KH 1 and 2 and is going to become the most detailed version, and beautiful aswell.

It's majorly unfair!!! There's no way I'll be able to pay for a DS and PSP and PS3 just to play any games they realease!!! I might get a PS3 @ somepoint but I only make about a £10 a week! if that. yeah it kinda sucks to think of the KH3 (the direct Sequel) Will be comming out on PS3, i'll be like outta college and spending money on nessisities and no way will i be able to get a PS3. Though the next three games BBS, Coded and 352/2 wont be to bad, i mean it'll be at least two years before any of them come out. I've already got a DS (had it sence the first year theyy released) and that leaves me plenty of time to buy a PSP, so i'm not to worried about those two...its KH3 thats got me worried.

yeah, thats right... Nomura said that FM+ was his FINAL game on the ps2... hes now concentrating on BbS, 358/2, and Coded, and in some years, on the ps3 (KH3)

Also, by the time KH3 comes out, the PS3 might be a lot cheaper. The PSP is only about US$150, so be GLAD it's not on the PS3.

Getting a job sounds nice to get a few extra bucks. I'll be working in the summer for a job. So I can get BBS and 358/2, yes, I own a PSP and DS. But they aren't technically mine, they are my siblings. Older and younger. So, I feel for you not having any of the systems the three games are coming out on.
If you can't get a job, try working hard on your grades. Then bug your parents on your next report card if it is really good.

Don't worry on getting Coded, I'll doubt half of us on KH-Vids will get it anyway. Which includes me, unless I get one somehow. O_o

I agree with you that I don't like that SE is putting these KH games on diferent platforms, but he wanted to try something diferent (because GB graphics sucks). I am planning on asking people to get me a PSP, but I'm gonna wait for a cell phone. (I hate the fact that they'll have one of the games on a cell.)

San - Well, number 3? The DS doesn't cost much, and they just came out with an improved PSP, which is selling for more or less, the same price as the old one. Xmas is soon. Pick which game you know that you'll die if you can't play (PSP ftw!), and ask for the corresponding system. In the meantime, ask your mommy for allowance, and do chores. Or, start a lawn mowing service. DS games are lyke, $25 - $35 (american dollars...), and PSP games can be from around $40 - $59.99 (american dollars of course).

Is SE stupid/lame for doing this? I dun think so. I think they are just getting a little greedy. Or, one could make a defense for them and say they are just trying to supply for the masses. Depends on point of view. I bought my own PSP a year after it came out, and my sis got a DS Lite last XMAS. I have an EnV, by LG, that I saved up for mowing lawns. I have a DS, my brother's got the PSP (But I'm planning to get my own in a year or so, because there is no way we'll be able to share when Birth by Sleep comes out), and I don't know about Coded yet. But really, when will they be coming out? In a good year/half a year, maybe more. In my opinion, you'd be able to save enough for at least a DS (if that is what you are missing), maybe even a PSP (again, if that's the one you're missing). They might even go down with the price a little by that time.

Dont lose heart, christmas is on its way! Besides think back to the good times, play old games again just let it go and relax. Even if christmas turns out hopeless, my advice is start saving up!

I, for one, thing it's a 50/50 deal. I really can't see how S-E can pull of KH on a PSP with that joystick missing. >_> I also can't necessarily see how it'll work on a DS, with no joystick PERIOD.

But that's up to s-e to make it work, not me, and I hope it works, because KH is my favorite series. I have DS, and am getting a PSP for Christmas, and am PRAYING it all pays off. If not, I'll just sell the PSP and be like "):". Though it's very stupid to get a PSP just for 1 game...I'm just that addicted I guess....

I think it is unfair to the point of forcing people to buy half the different platforms out there to continue playing one series. I can see they may be experimenting with different methods of delivering the series, but still they are going to lose part of their market.

Not everyone can afford to buy all the different platforms, not everyone is old enough to have a job, not everyone has enough time to hold a job and even people with jobs still may not be able to afford to pay for the different platforms.

But I suppose a series does need some variation, I mean if all their games came out on similar platforms (i.e. PS2/PS3) the gameplay might get a bit stale =/.

I saw someone in this thread deciding on whether to get a PSP or a DS, then I heard complaints about PSP costing too much...

I believe the DS Lite is around $120-130, PSP is $160 so I don't see the big deal, specially considering the fact it has loads of multimedia capabilities.

Go for the PSP, not only would it look prettier, but it would be the version most closely related to the main game.

I dont mind the KH games being on different platforms. I already have a DS and PSP and KH3 wont be out for a while so im safe there. Although I admit the control scheme might be a little hard to pull off on the PSP and DS, I can see how they could easily do it. I might not be able to play the cell phone one either but cell phones arent that comfortable to play on anyways so yeah >_>.

im 13 and i just got $200 from my job. odin sphere, jeanne d'arc, and in a few days (maybe even tomorrow) kh2fm+ are all mine. too young for jobs. BAH. (note this jobn pays minimum wage, and i barely work any hours... 1-2.5 hours a week ROFL, but i only work on thursdays, and all i do is open teh door for ppl while playing my psp)

What would have been nice is if Nomura had made the games for the PS2 and also then made one for the PSP and the DS and the phone. That way if we all don't have a mobile console, we could enjoy them at home, and if we do have a PSP, BBS was fine and if we had a DS 358/2 days was fine. Not many people here are going to be able to play coded so that was kind of not so great to do either.

But in the end, with the PS3, sometime later, the BBS game might be on the website for download so if it isn't something gotten early, perhaps that will happen. Otherwise, yeah, I don't see any way of getting any of these games without an emulator or the actual game systems they operate on. I do feel it kind of makes those of us who really want to play and don't have both portable consoles, or even one in some cases, have to go buy them along with the games. So we are spending nearly 200 bucks just to play a new KH game alone just for one of the portable consoles. =:/ Guess we just have to live with it and really really hope that it lives up to some hype if we do get them. I know I will so if the games suck something is likely to explode on the level of an atomic bomb somewhere in central New York. If that happens it was my brain having a chain reaction with one of the games.

Dang, I do wish that they would have made the games for PS2 - I can only asume that Nomura wanted to experiment with the mobile, DS and PSP. Try something new/different, who doesn't want that once in a while? Though I also wish that 358/2 Days would be available on the PSP since I already was interested in getting one. (Daxter, Tekken, Ratchet & Clank I think were available on PSP) Oh well. When I see reviews for the games after they're out, I will decide what to go for in the end.
