yeah, that makes sense, because mickey found out there was a messege right after he got back to Disney, and the ending scene did take place a few days after Sora came back, so the letter tells Sora what Mickey found out so he sets out on a journey, which is KHIII.

Meh, if this game is significant to the story, then the message could have something to do with the plot.

All 3 of the new games are connected in some way to KH3... so the message quite possibly DOES have a connection to that... though, don't forget, there's also the 'true enemy' of Coded...

Well, it said "We must return to free them from their torment," so the mystery is finding out where exactly we need to "return" to and who "they" are. "They" is plural, so it has to be a group of two or more people. By what I read, "Coded" takes place in a data version of Castle Oblivion from Jiminy's journal, right? So it must be someone from Sora's memories. Now, what group of people has Sora encountered in Castle Oblivion that includes more than one person? *hint* *hint*

We can get that the enemy is in torment. Freeing them will obviously be some keybearer's job.
Perhaps grounded hearts? usually hearts go to kingdom hearts, but I think the enemy are hearts embodied by light instead of dark. They wish to reconnect with Kingdom hearts, but they cannot without the keyblade.

I always thought that 'filling everyone's Heart full o' Light' as Goofy put it was NOT something to be aimed for... not only would it unbalance the cosmos' Light/Darkness ratio, but I think that doing that would also give rise to something WORSE than Heartless or Nobodies...

Well in KH2 the artifical heartless still attacked Sora (ones withe heartless crest on them), so that machine must still be around somewhere.

Because this series is really about the conflict this one guy makes, lol. I mean every final boss has something to do with Xehanort. Yeah!
I'm still a bit confused about Coded. It isn't even the real Sora is it? Like Sora doesnt go to DC and gets put into data does he? Because hes in his KH1 clothes so it makes it seem like it is just a fake Sora so the real Sora doesnt know about ANY of this. So hmm, i don't know. I don't think we will even get it over here but hopefully we can still see cutscenes and story stuff and what not.

It might also have something to do with "Dis-Soul". A lot of things point to the new enemy in BBS being people's corrupted souls gone loose. If this is true, then this message is probably telling Sora and co. to find Terra, Aqua, and Ven, which will probably be further explained in KH3.

He was drunk when he came up with the general idea. Later they discovered how it would fit in the KH universe and therefore he could have figured out a way to make it more significant to the series. Don't judge something just by how it was come up with. I mean KH was originally going to be intended for extremely little kids but they decided to make it to the FF Age group and look at it now.
