I just thought of something: you know how this game is supposed to be set prior to the creation of heartless, right? Well, in the "Birth by Sleep" secret ending, Baldynort summons Kingdom Hearts and rises into it. Do you think that by going into it, he created a sort of Sephiroth/geostigma syndrome, causing hearts to have darkness and become heartless if the darkness spreads too wide?

I don't think so. Darkness in hearts...that's just kind of something that has to be there from the very beginning, like light.

Birth By Sleep was supposed to trigger the start of Kingdom Hearts, so my theory is that based on my theory on "Endless" - the soul creatures, when Master X (as I like to call him) creates Kingdom Hearts in the secret ending, Heartless and Nobodies were created in the process meaning that Endless would no longer exist as a Nobody would need a soul to "exist".

Yeah maybe...but I thought he did what Ansem couldn't do and find a vessel to contain hearts..and therefore create Kingdom Hearts. Did that make sense?

Ansem the Wise isn't the creator of Heartless, Xemnas just said that to taunt him. What he meant was, that Ansem was the one who started the experiments that eventually led to the creation of the Heartless. But it was Xehanort who carried on meddling with people's hearts even after Ansem had forbidden him to.

Yeah, what Mog said. Ansem began experimenting on Xehanort, seeing what a unique person he was, and even said in some ways he was 'super human'. Having no memories made him a good subject. However, when Ansem ordered it stopped and decided it was wrong, it was probably too late, woke the darkness in Xehanort enough etc. Xehanort was the one in the basement levels who created the machine to make the Emblem Heartless off of the Pureblood Heartless he discovered. He's also the one that went and distributed them everywhere after Ansem finally clued into what he was doing.

He was just basically taunting DiZ when he said that because in essence, if Ansem had never began the experiments, maybe this wouldn't have happened where Xehanort became such a baaaaaaaaad student.

Yeah, he said "You are the source of all heartless" because of his expirements that ended up opening the door to darkness and unleashing the heartless into the worlds. He said it just to tick him off, not really as fact.

i agree with this.. but me too think that Ansem The Wise is the creator of heartless.. is his experiments make Xehanort curious
