why doesn't aqua look like namine since ven looks like roxas??

The most simple answer is that Namine is not Aqua in any way most likely. Namine has pretty much Kairi's face and figure. Aqua seemed to be taller and more athletic so I don't believe Aqua really has anything to do with that, as of yet anyway. Namine's existence made more sense than Roxas's in KH2 because she really did look a lot like Kairi except for coloration differences and she was a bit smaller. I wouldn't yet say she's any different than what was told in KH2 because it made sense she was as she was considering she never lost her Heart essentially to Heartless or her body. Instead, she lost her Heart and it resided in Sora. Roxas and Ven are exactly alike in features so there's a definite match up there.

Roxas and Ven are an exact match. Aqua doesnt look like Namine. And Namine looks like Kairi except for hair and build differences.

i think roxas born from ven's heart, so they look similar.. but namine is not aqua, she is kairi's nobody.. perhaps namine would have aqua memories... but not the same person..

If we're assuming that Aqua is linked through heart and/or soul to Kairi, like we believe Ven is linked to Sora, then it would make sense that Namine should look like Aqua. Except that Namine is a special Nobody.

-Master Ansem thought she wasn't a true Nobody.
-She's a witch whose able to control Sora's memories.
-She comes from a princess of heart.
-She was created when Kairi's heart less Sora's body, unlike the other Nobodies.

I think the last one is especially important, because I've heard rumors that Xemnas is also considered a 'special' Nobody. If Xehanort II really had Master Xehanort's heart or soul in Terra's body, then it would also be an instance of the wrong heart leaving the wrong body and creating a 'special' nobody.

I'm not entirely sure I want to believe that Aqua has a connection to Kairi. But I do see an opportunity for it to happen. Aqua's armor is found at Radiant Garden, the same place where Kairi lived. Perhaps Aqua fell to Radiant Garden the same time Xehanort did.

I don't see the simularity in Namine and Aqua at all, but thats just me. And with Ven and Roxas, I think Normura said that there is some kinda connection between the two, but other than that no one really knows why.

Another thing about why I doubt Aqua is at all connected to Namine is because Kairi was not even on Destiny Islands when Riku and Sora were there with Ven and Terra. Aqua may have been with Ven and Terra as well, but we don't see her since they are being pretty elusive about her. Kairi though doesn't appear on DI until I believe a year later after 'Xehanort' betrays Ansem the Wise and he and his apprentice buddies go to Darkness and release the Heartless. There is no real answer provided with why or how Kairi ended up going to DI since her memories were taken and the most we got, even exploring Hollow Bastion was that she lived at the castle probably with her grandmother.

This is a 'far jump' theory to explain a couple things on Aqua and I may totally retract it later as I find out more info but...It could be that perhaps Aqua played a roll in sending Kairi through a door as a kid as the tragedy struck and was one of the victims there. It may also explain, a connection between the 14th member of the Org and Aqua if there is one. I think it's more likely at this time that Aqua and the 14th member of the Org in 358/2 Days is connected than Kairi and Namine are to Aqua. Again, total speculation.

Ven probably has a certain connection to Sora, basically. Besides, I don't think SE wants to bore us with too many characters that look very similar to others we've seen many times before (that's probably why they made Master X an old man or else he'd look like Xehanort's Heartless again).
