How come Donald And Goofy's clothes changed when they were walking down the path in the ending to KH? They appeared like that again in the intro to COM.

What's going on with their clothes.....O_O

They probably got thrown into an alternate Abercrombie world, in which they attempted to defeat the Dream Nobodies in a battle that threw them into the core of the planet. Sora knocked Donald into the core and aliens came down and summoned him up. After anally probing him, they changed their clothes and were sent back down to Earth.

Just a theory. And in CoM he explains why they change.

There is no real reason why they're clothes changed. But they do explained why they changed again in CoM

One theory is that when the worlds were restored, they got their 'normal' and 'casual' clothes. Because they were in The End of the World, they didn't get sent back to Disney Castle.

That would also explain when they change back into their clothes in Chain of Memories because those were the clothes suited for battle. Hence why they only have their starting weapons instead of for example, Save the Queen and Save The King, because they just do story-wise.

I did notice that. That was pretty bizzare. I think it had to do with the 'light' that came from Kingdom Hearts...or something.

Okay, i remember goofy saying somethin, "We need new duds when we get there" so maybe they changed into the gummi ship, as for the ending, maybe they were wearing they're normal suit first and wore their casual after, and it got suck on the door to darkness, hahahha

You guys are thinking about this way too seriously.I honestly don't think Donald and Goofy changing thier clothes was part of the story.I think it's pretty obvious that it was developer mistake.As for COM I think they had them those clothes just to cover up thier mistake.

I agree on the part that ppl are making too much of a deal for something useless, but I don't agree with the developer mistake.
I bet they were very conscious they did it.
