Riku's story as well?

i wonder if this game explains some unknowns in Riku's story as well. cuz there are some unexplained stuff. like what he was doing when he was MIA for practically the entire KH2 game. and maybe they'll actually show when Roxas beat Riku (which i THINK is some other time before Deep Dive but they didn't show it). i'm guessing since you play as Roxas, you beat Riku in that battle and the ending of the game is that scene from Final Mix+ where Riku transforms into Ansem and kills Roxas?

also, i remember reading that during the storyline one of the Organization members will disappear for the remainder of the game. i wonder who that is? probably Xemnas? but then again, i would think that all the COM members would disappear after a while.

actually depending on if they execuete it well enough, Riku would be a pretty decent final boss. like if he actually fought the way he did in RE: COM, he would be fun to fight! i wonder why they powered him down so much in KH2

nomura said that when he explained that the multiplayer and storyline will be "different worlds becuz one of the members will disappear for the remainder of the game". also, nomura said that the organization's member's chair will raise or fall depending on how well you do during missions in multiplayer. since the 14th member has no chair, i would think she is unplayable?

I would get this game alone for the reason to be able to play as Riku. I do hope his story is included in this since Nomura did say he wanted to show more how Riku learned to use Darkness and how he changed. I hope his info is not all in Coded instead. That would just stink.

well they said that in coded we will have an explaination on what riku has been doing but then again thats telling the story be4 kh2. so yeah i think we'll see whats up with in this game as well

I would imagine they'd explain what he was doing to some degree in this game. I know it's going to focus largely on Org. XIII but the two would have had to cross paths at some point in the game.

As for 14th member, she'd be there...but I don't think as a playable character. Important to the storyline someway...but not playable.

I think that Riku just knocked Roxas unconscious, not killed him. I don't think you play as anyone, its just a cutscene.

Now there's something to imagine. I could almost see that happening in a future game to recall the events of the first game. But would he be under his own will or under Ansem's again?

But for now, he's most likely an ally. This game will likely show him beside Diz and his absence from the end of KH2 will probably be in coded.

I read in an interview with Nomura and some of the other staff that you would find out about what happened to Riku in Coded and where Mickey went. They also said in another interview that Riku would be shown in a battle between Roxas and Riku and another scene. I'm hoping that they aren't telling the complete truth (from memory, Nomura lied about there not being a KH II Final Mix so we never know) otherwise....Nomura, you can't do this to me! You just can't! :yelling:

I think the entire story is a mix. Riku and Roxas, in different part switch offs.
I think the ending would be like this:
That you play as Roxas, fighting 1000 heartless who were those little chubby things...sorry, don't know what there called. Then, you fight Riku. Then, you fight Riku ansem.
