Every time I see you
I know I want to smile
You made me realize
that there are people
who love me

You showed me that life
is more important than I thought.
That every creature
deserves to live

Now I know who I am
and that there will always be
people who care for me
for now I am happy

You were the one who taught me
what descisions were good
and which ones were bad
so now I know

Every time there was a problem
you would be there next to me
to embrace me and tell me
everything will be okay

I was cared for and loved
by none other than you
You helped me be
the person I am today

It was all thanks to you
that I turned out this way
but now it is my turn
to help you

I want to help you
get through your problems
I want to help you
become a better person

So just know that
if you ever have a problem
I will always be here
to guide you through it
