The Rain

[Heaven's Angel]

The sky is dark
it's filled with clouds
that are grey
a symbol of depression

They drop like tears
onto my skin
piercing cold
like ice...

We know that
he is sad
and these
are his teardrops.

Falling harder and harder
their numbers increasing
the slight drizzle
turns into rain

These raindrops fill me
with so much sadness
because it reminds me
so much of crying

With the dark sky
and the raindrop tears
the sun will soon emerge
to bring a new joy

yeah. For some reason I prefer thunderstorms. I just love the sound of water falling. I don't view it as a symbol of depression, though, as you mentioned in your poem.
