The First one didn't even let me get to the main menu. The second one, I got to be Sora alone, but the Party Command is disabled, and when you open the start menu and move up or down one, it freezes...

I thought that might happen, sorry I forgot to mention that. You're not supposed to switch Mickey into the party, you're supposed to go to a boss battle, then die, then continue. I was trying to get Mickey to come up every time you die, because then you could get Mickey's normal 3 button menu whenever you wanted. I figured that when you go into certain boss battles Mickey is switch into the fourth party member slot, and the party command doesn't work for Mickey. I think the party command was disabled because there was supposed to be two other characters in the party.

I know the code you're talking about, but it didn't give Mickey the Equipment, and I was wondering if there was a different one.

no u cannot. it will NOT work. there is something else that needs to be done. maxconvert can't convert from region to region, only from cheating device to cheating device

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I still got pretty far though, right? Did you try the code on bosses? like Sephiroth? Or Xemnas? Or anybody else? hmm..........I know how I could change it if I could somehow hack into the game itself and reprogram it, but, I don't know if there is even a way to hack it like that. It's just that we need to replace potion functions of triggering the event(Reviving Sora), with just a common self restore item use event. Mabe it's hopeless.

Well first you need WinRAR (which is a small file used to open special files). Google "WinRAR free trial" and it should be one of the first few. Then you can open the Converter.

Example: from tilting you analog stick forward to move sora to triggering a conversaion with x

Well...It's like, the only emulater that doesn't crash your computer because of bad programming. The only thing really bad about it, is that you need literally about 5000000 bytes of physical memory on your computer in order for it to work. So you pretty much need a flat out clean computer, or you could just get a new one. Also, some textures come up as random colors, because the computer isn't made to handle those textures or something, but thats only withh floors and walls and stuff like that. I've never been able to use it, because of the required physical memory, so I can't get it to work. I wish I could, because I got an xbox360 controller(not the cosole) for the computer, and if you think about it, the structure of the PS2 and the 360 controllers are pretty much exactly the same, except the D-pad is swapped with the left analog stick.

Aparantly kh2 cant even get passed the menu. The farest Ive gotten playing around with an emulator was the begining of roxas play time where I either lagged to hell or it crashed.
In two years then we might get somewhere with it.

Yeah, they just said it was the best, just like every other place that sells stuff, but it was the only one I could find that other people said worked. I found a link to it while on OCremix, it listed all the PS2 emulators and there was a column saying weither they work or not and all of them said "doesn't work" except the one I have. I have it, I just can't run it.

remember when i told coffeeguy to buy a codebreaker? that's why. i have one but i've found that the dumps haven't really shown me much except for that one code of the Battle LVL default. if u have an AR Max, ur really wasting ur time trying becuz it won't transfer to flash drive.

What do you mean the PS2 doesn't have enough processing power? If the processor can handle 1000 heartless on screen at a time then it should definately be able to handle 5 party members in battle at the same time, just mabe not at certain parts.

What happened to those old dumps of Roxas and Sora that Evilman and that other guy were working on? And what do I do with them? And don't give me any crap about how you just think that I don't know how to do anything just because I'm a random 13 year old kid with as little experience as any newbie hacker could have so there's no way that I could even do anything with the dumps even if I tried. remember when i told coffeeguy to buy a codebreaker? that's why. i have one but i've found that the dumps haven't really shown me much except for that one code of the Battle LVL default. if u have an AR Max, ur really wasting ur time trying becuz it won't transfer to flash drive.

Someone doesn't know about AR Max/GameShark/Code Breaker and thinks you enter the letters and numbers directly into the PS2 :eek: . By the way, for the guy who posted that, you need to go out and buy yourself an AR Max or Code Breaker or Gameshark. For future reference to you...

By the way Evilman, don't kill me for this even though you probably already know, but I'm not counting UP from 7, I'm counting DOWN form 9F. So that you can count UP, and we here at kh-vids can count DOWN, so that it doesn't take as long going through 150 codes. Yes, I said 150. but if Evilman gets people at codemasters to test the codes in order counting UP from where he left off, we'll only have to test(150/2=) 75 codes.

Guys, I just figured out how to equip abilities with no AP, its simple, a weapon with an ability (ie Kingdom Key has defender, Ultima Weapon has MP Hastega, Fenrir has negative combo), makes the ability equip automatically, with no AP used, so we can put abilities in weapon slots and it should work

what do dump codes do by any chance

dump codes turn a save file ( if your using a save dump ) into a large junk file packed with information of that certain part of the game. they can be 4MB ( very unuseful most of the times ) or 7MB

then we load it into the PS2 dissasembler from the address 00100000 and thats it

remember you must have..
Windows Calculator (Converting Dec to hex)
Float Convert (converting Des to float)

basically it's a shortcut for hacking and can save alot of time
( sometimes dumps are required for certain codes )

I just joined the organization misfits...........which has 17 members including me, so lets see. 17+Evilman+Kams+Advent+jlhack=a total of 20 people testing these codes. I Advent and Kams could finish 20 codes in 1 weekend by themselves, then that would mean that 20 people can do 200 codes in one weekend. And THAT definately = total, ultimate, code searching, ownage. With that many people, totaling that much progress, means that we could find the card/dice form codes even if they really AREN'T on the drive address. We could even make more progress than Skiller.

i did look over that Battle Lvl code . now im just Trying to Force the Enemys HP to max lol as in 100+ for every monster . the first attempt i did crashed my game .. but i will be able to fix this soon .>
the battle lvl code only goest to set values and each planet looks to only have set values as well. :(

-Can someone post a "Play as Mickey with Riku" code?

The next two are requested for people who hack their own codes (Evil, Clontox, etc.).

-Is there a way to make a "Play in the Station of Serenity" code?

-Is there a way to make a "Replay Bosses" code (i.e. Sephiroth, Barbossa, etc.)?

yes but we will need someone to dump the game at that point

that would be possible but the game MUST be dumped during the boss battle ( which requires the save anywhere code ) so we can see which values and addresses go to the boss
