Do you agree with 358/2 days be on DS console

I do, I don't consider much about story but the multiplayer thing looks awesome!

Now, this is the issue I'm personally most torn on. I dislike it whenever a series branches out to different systems for one main reason - If I want to play that game, I'll have to buy the system in order to do so. This inspires a feeling of hopelessness in unemployed gamers like me. It's like saying, "Hey, do you want this great game? Well, it's only $200 and a new system away!"

That said, I think that testing new consoles can be healthy for a game franchise, but the intent should be to get as many people as possible playing the game, not forcing people to buy new systems to play a bunch of different ones.

The DS is a fascinating handheld and I really wish I had one... Same goes for PSP.

Well the DS isn't really a console I don't think. Isn't that just systems like the PS2, PS3, Wii, 360, etc.?

Anyway. I think it's great, especially because it'll have Wi Fi. And I have Wi Fi so it's gonna rock. :3

Sure, it might be kind of cool with Wi Fi. But I really hate how this happens. It seems like the only way to be able to play all the games now a' days is to own every counsole out there!

I'm already struggling to get a PS3, and I just got my Wii. Not to mention I don't own a PSP or DS. Sigh. Never even touched an Xbox. But lately there's been a new game with like a new counsole.

Just like what they're doing with the new Final Fantasy VII games. So it would be nice to keep to generally one counsole. Instead of making a new one for PS3, DS, and PSP.

I'm glad it will be on the ds. I don't have a ps2(yet. I might get one for christmas) but i do have a ds. I think it will be a lot of fun considering it will be 3d, unlike CoM

Don't be so sure they would make Remake of it!
Why make a remake for COM they did because they wanted to make it 3D but 358/2 days is 3D I wouldn't say they remake it!

Technically they're not really "forcing" you to get the console (in this case it's a hand held though), that's up to the customer to decide. However I get what you're saying.

But understand that it's only normal for game developers to hop on to different systems. If anything, it's expected. Consoles/handhelds eventually die, so the developers have to keep up with what's on the market. In this case, setting all three of the games for the PS2 would've proven to be quite redundant as its a DYING console. Also, developing them all for it would've taken much much longer than it would take for them to port to a handheld. Let's not forget; these new titles aren't necessarily important, story-driven continuations KH2, these are merely sideplots.

Personally I would rather they have it like this than all three of the games being for one handheld only. This way, those who posses only one of the handhelds can pick up at least one of the games. Of course this is bad luck for those who don't have ANY of the said handhelds, so it's up to them to decide if they're willing to spend over 150 for a single game - which in my honest opinion, is downright stupid.

I would agree....but then I would have to have a DS....so unless someone will give me one free.....lol.....I probably won't end up getting it....cause then you will need a ps2, gameboy sp, ds, psp, etc to be able to play all of the games....

You can play CoM on the ds, so you won't need the sp.

Meh. Not sure. I mean, Wi-Fi is a fantastic feature that could be implemented. The fact that it is on a handheld also means less time developing the game. I guess it depends if it feels KH enough to me. If the controls are wrong and it doesn't fell like a KH game, then probably not. But, I have a feeling Nomura will make it feel like it was meant to be for the DS.

Of my opinion I think they are going to release the three new games to different consoles because they want to see to what console is more playable!
But that's just my opinion so....
