This section is for SERIOUS RP, for those RPers who want to take it to another level and go beyond 4 line posts. Since this is aimed at longer, more creative, more in depth RP; this section is being taken seriously.

If your RP does not meet the standard that is expected, it will be moved to the main RP section.

~Summary: The section for RPs that have longer more creative writing style RPs that tell a real story.

~What to post here:

RP's with an extended, longer story

~ Common instances of wrong threads being posted here: Please note that RP's about any type of story can go here; (Movies, Anime, KH, Fantasy) as long as they are extended and meet the criteria. The guidelines for this section are as follows:

All rules from the general RP section also count here, but with some small additions.
Posts must be a minimum of 10 lines long.
NO godmodding.
A decent level of grammatical knowledge and correct spelling is expected, TEXT SHORTHAND OR ANY OTHER FORM OF DELIBERATE SHORTENING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
Swearing and inappropriate content will not be allowed, yes this is more about serious RP, but bear in mind the minimum age of the site.
Break the rules frequently and you will receive a warning.

This thread will be kept open so if you have something you would like to discuss regarding this section do it here :3

Edit by orange: I've added some new guidelines n' such and deleted some spam posts in this thread. Happy posting from now on, my distinguished and wonderful doves. <3

How about this addition to the 2nd rule?

Anybody making less than a ten line post will get a warning from the thread maker. Failure to do so twice will result in one week suspension from rp. If happened once more, permanent ban from the rp is to take place.

What do you think?

What about dialogue? Occasionally, I'll do a one-line paragraph with nothing but a line someone spoke, then go one rambling on and on about what happened after that the next one and the one after that. XD;

*has done that many times before - especially in stories*

Hmm I am thinking of trying to work something in that allows it when it is actually needed, the example you gave is one I had thought of xD

My main issue I have with short posts is the posts like

"Axel said yes"

post like that ^ and I will eat you >_>

as long as the post fits the RP and adds to it instead of taking something away, then I shall leave it to the discretion of the RP creator to determine whether to kill you or not :3

How about power playing and god modding? It's happened to me in countless RPs I've made, no matter HOW many times I put up a rule against it. Usually, I let it go after the first time because somebody might not have seen the rule, but then other people start taking advantage of it and it tends to end up something like

"Rey shot Sam and killed him instantly"

In this case, I am Sam(uel), and another random RPer is Rey. If the case is they didn't see the rule, then I'm okay with it, but then that person gets to thinking they can get away with it and end up with something horrible happening to another person, like this:

"Rey used a Meteor Storm and obliterated Sam"

And then my nerves are getting jumped on. Could there possibly be a rule against that? I don't want to seem like a party pooper or whatever, but it just bugs me is all.

That is like an unwritten rule that I would expect all half decent RPers to know about anyay o_O I would be surprised to find it occuring in this particular section. Hmm but I will add it to the list kk
