Hi.
First of all thank you for all the information that this site has offered considering Kingdom Hearts-series. But I'd like to suggest you something that someon must likely hasn't suggested earlier: switch the server.
Almost every day this site is down for multiple hours for no reason. I've tried with Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer 7, Opera 9.5 Beta and Safari to come to this site and I get:
"This sites server is not responding."
This means that I can't access the site at all and trust me, once I try to come here I really do need to come here. I don't hang here for fun. Sorry for sounding so accused but it's just so irritating to come here and notice that the damn server is down again.
If someone starts to suggest that it is in my operating system that is faulty then he or she is way out of knowledge. OS's working does not affect how browser reads pages or how pages server works. Those are affected by other matters. Just for you to know my OS is Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit although it doesn't matter at all.
This was the closest area what I could find for this thread.
Clearing out: This happens sometimes on the day, I can still access site normally but mostly this site is down.

I quite often get the same problem as you. It's a real pain in the toosh!
I've even tried with several different web browsers, and still nothin'. I've even tried different machines and it still gives me the same problem.
I would love to have this problem fixed. It's fraustrating when there is a problem with members and i can't even get on to handle it.

I agree, these errors are becoming a real pain in the ass now :yelling:
And are any of you willing to foot the bill for this? Servers cost money you know, spdude does not have to do this. The only way he might do it is if they become so bad it is impossible to get on.
This never happened to me O.o

Quoted for truth
also, I don't have this issue o_O I sometimes get the odd database error but that is it, if it is only happening with some members to that extent that would imply it isn't a server issue o_O

I know that this costs a lot of money. I use ~80 € per year for my own site (30 Gb per month datatransferment, 2 Gb datastoragement). Still, it shouldn't be this hard to go to a public site that is in continuous use. It's kinda like Google would crash but they wouldn't do anything to it and complain to the users that it costs too much money to fix it.

I have to disagree with you there, lmfao we generate no where near as much money as google xDDDD may I ask what your own site is?

So you are comparing a massive multi-national company worth billions to a private individual who could still be at school or be working to make ends meet? You can't expect that off of someone, you should be grateful for the fact that he keeps the site running at all. It's not like he has to.
Although, if it were possible, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.

I've experienced this once, never happened again and that was months ago.
Personally I think the site is doing fine, but if this many people are bothered about it; I say if it's possible we should change the server.

It happens more often than I'd like it, but it has also gotten much easier to access after the dataserver error problem was as good as fixed. I don't really think a new server is needed atm - if it effects every single person at the same time then I would go for it.

Aye, if a lot more folk start having these problems i think a changemay be needed..
On a side note. I couldn't get on yesterday for a few hours! YAY!

You know, strangely, I havent had problems at all. If a change is neccesary though, just change it then.
...Y'know (you all might just flame me for saying this) you could just...do something else...like a read or something then come back later.

Well, surprisingly this has never happened to me. No lag, maybe once but it was hell long ago.
But server change needs money, and this site (no offense) doesn't really live up to the expectations of having a server change for only a certain time period when unresponding. If it was unnaccessable, I understand. But that time isn't now, so I'll hold up on my answer.

Noting the issue.. will try to figure out cause and fix within 24 hours. Thanks...
Some other problems with some text becoming centered on the front page and logged in users section are also noted....
