You whore, I was in the middle of making this thread. Here's the link I was gonna use, lol. (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22788914/)

Well, I can't believe it, and I wonder why he did it. I mean, he has a daughter and a movie in post-production.. :/ Shocking.

Since when is suicide logical? A person on the verge of the suicide is not thinking rationally, hence why they may kill themselves >_>

Was that post really necessary? Can you tell the difference between serious and non-serious comments? Do you not understand my sense of humour? No to all the above? ja.

Thanks for the diagnosis, Dr. Phil. But I don't know what gave you the idea that I had the impression that suicide was logical... I was just stating that his life seemed to be going well and that his reason for killing himself wasn't clear. :/

There's still one filming called The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus with Heath supposed to be one of the main characters. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1054606/

Well that's sad but I only thought he was decent actor. Never had any stand-out roles to me. It's still sad when someone famous dies, I suppose. I don't really care, it's not like he's my grandpa, but I am sorry for those who knew him personally.

Do you mean her apartment building or her actual room? Because I thought he was in his bedroom. o,o

Apparently, that report was not correct. Ignore my previous post.

Paul J. Browne, the Police Department’s deputy commissioner for public information, initially said that the apartment was owned by the actress Mary-Kate Olsen, but later reversed himself and said that was not the case.

A representative of Ms. Olsen said that the apartment did not belong to the actress. “It is not her apartment,” the representative, Annette Wolf, a publicist for Ms. Olsen, said in a phone interview. “She does not own the apartment. She has never owned the apartment. She and her sister have an apartment in New York City but they are not in this building.”

^ He isn't playing Batman. He's playing the Joker. And it was already confirmed that he *finished* filming his role before this happened.

So despite how unimportant this is in light of what just happened, there isn't going to be any recasting for his role in The Dark Knight.

And pardon the skepticism, but they never said it was a suicide--you're all just assuming as such. There's obviously going to be an investigation even after his autopsy tomorrow. It will *most* likely be filed as a suicide if nothing comes up in the investigation.

RIP, Heath.

Wow...I got out of class today and hear this and I thought it was a joke..............It's a real loss to the acting community. I know the Heath wasn't exactly A list material but the movies he started in he lived the roles and I think that set hiim apart from all the rest. I wish his family and close friends the strength at this time.

RIP Crowned Prince of Gotham.

I couldn't believe this when I first heard. He was a decent actor as well imo... My best goes out to his family and such.

Picketing the funeral of a guy who had a wife and a kid who had a great career in from of him and who just happened to be in a film about gay cowboys. I hate the Westbrow Baptist Church. I apsolutely hate the Tunnel visioned, homophobic *******s.

ok, i'm adding WBC to my list, he was a ****ing legend, I loved A Knights Tale, and 10 things I hate about you, acting in a gay movie isn't a crime, nor is being gay, and he's clearly straight, the dude who plays Will in Will and Grace plays a gay man but is straight in real life, the pestering him? No, why? Cause he's alive, ****ers are cowards who only attack when the person is dead and his friends and family are in mourning.

Ok that is pathetic, it was a film for crying out loud. This is why I do not like extremists >: let the man rest in peace, and what about the effect this will have on his child? They really are very low if they would stoop to picketing a man's funeral. That is wrong. No matter what your beliefs are, that is disrespect to the dead.

I will say though guys please cool it with your comment, Bunter I am editing your post for encouraging violence >_>

Fred Phelps is, needless to say, an *******.

Omfg. I cannot believe they would go that far. He's dead. Let him rest in peace.

He was a good actor, it is unfortunate that someone with such great talent had to die like this. (and at 28, from what I heard...)
RIP Heath Ledger.

I'd say the WBC deserves to be shot, but I suppose that would make me just as much an extremist as they are. They really do need to just be told to shut up and the public should stop giving these nut jobs so much attention and tell them to go home because they are disturbing the peace.

If someone dies, jeez...let the family and friends and people who liked the person pay their respects! What a disappointment. I bet those same people protesting would threaten to kill anyone and mean it if someone ruined one of their holy funerals of their beloved innocent people. They really should have to be removed from this scene. Also...as others mentioned, Heath was a straight guy. He took a role that was difficult and stretched his skills and did it obviously so well that he's gay to these dorks. Even if he was gay, the acts of the WBC should be ultimately condemned. Extremists suck.

I'm glad that at least we will get to hopefully see him in the Dark Knight movie as his parts were all filmed. I also enjoyed A Knight's Tale, though nothing else he did really stood out. I didn't really have an interest in seeing Brokeback Mountain since cowboys are not my thing, but I've seen A Knight's Tale quite a few times and it's such a classic cult sort of film anymore. I do wonder if this was suicide or accidental overdose or what. The news is not yet clear on the results but what a shame. He seemed to finally be getting roles he actually wanted.

Sad.
I'm really surprised how quickly the news hit the web. That's how his family found out.
