Does anyone know Teamspeak? For the guys who don't know what Teamspeak is, i'll explain it:
Teamspeak is a programm you can download. There are several Teamspeak server. Every Server have an IP. If you know the IP of a server you can join it. You can talk over Teamspeak with other people. You just need a headset or a microphone. This is what Teamspeak looks like on a server:

It would be nice and funny to have an own server just for kh-vids. So maybe, if anyone is interested a admin could get a sponsored Teamspeak server. It is nice to talk with people and much better than typing.

An other idea is, that we could use Team Viewer. Normally you use TeamViewer to control an other conputer like you have a computer at your working place and you can control this computer via your computer at home. You also can choose "presentation". And this is what my idea is about:
Anyone with a webcam could show us live how he is playing. You know what I mean? I think so.

Combined it would be very, very cool. You can see anyone playing for example Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix + and over TS you can hear sounds and music. What do you guys think about my idea?

Teamspeak is only for talking, as you stated. Not all people have microphones, so they would want to use the keyboard.

Yeah. But I think that maybe some members has a headset or microphone. Better... I hope that anyone have a hs or microphone.

Actually I don't have a microphone; but that's not the point. A program which allows you to type and speak on a server you have chosen is what I mean. Like Xfire (which also has a very nice interface) but it doesn't as support for making your own servers to chat(or maybe you can, I don't really know).

I don't know what you directly mean. Please explain a bit more.

I mean that it would be better if your program also had support for typing with the keyboard.

I actually agree since I already have TS. It owns and it'd be great for mass chats for those with mics instead of just sending eachother voice clips.

TS allows you to write pm's to other members.

if this did happen, it would have to be very organized. and plus teamspeak isnt dialup freindly so that cuts out a few people.

Kitty gives her lick of approval.

I sense many random convo's.

I think Is would be fun to have, although it would be a bit unfair to those who don't have mic's with everyone making threads about the convo's they had.

Unless the staff could make a Sub-Forum In the Spamzone for TS so the Spamzone wont be full of Teamspeak threads, because I KNOW there will be lots. Maybe even a thread would be fine.

Anyway, It sounds like a fun Idea! I just gotta get my Mic out of the garage and try to avoid my Mum giving me weird looks because she would think I were talking to myself.

Does this eat up your bandwidth for the forum or is it a separate thing altogether?

In their official page they say that you must pay to become a server hoster.

I've run a TS server off of my computer before, but I can only max 20 connections.

If we get someone with a good enough server/internet for aquite a few connections at once, they could host it.

I think 20 is the -max- on 786kpbs cable/DSL. Unless someone has T1-T3, we're not gonna get more than that without paying.

Somebody MIGHT have T1, but i doubt it.

I think this looks a good idea but it would probably be quite difficult to impliment.

Funny thing about that, if you don't need it under the site name, I think I already know a server that could be used that is being payed for.It was for my site;s audio shows and random chats, should still be there.

Wait, SJ, Audio shows? we could probably use that for the KHV Radio thing that was being discussed too!

All it is is a record feature. If you want to do a KHV radio, better off using audacity.

I still go for Xfire.

The answer is no guys. It would isolate some members automatically, and it requires a mic right ? (doesn't matter really)
I'm sorry =/
