Which codes are better: action replay or codebreaker?

I'm trying to decide which cheat device to buy :action replay or codebreaker?
so can anyone tell me which one is better?:guns:

BTW code breakers sodes are smaller

action replay you have to go through the process of getting codes converted, finding game id etc. which is a real pain
codebreaker is just get the RAW code and play

(both require M code but codebreaker M code is more common and easier to make IMO)

Action Replay- 567 people says its the best
Codebreaker-785 people says its the best

If anyone knows which one is best please tell me

Codebreaker.. trust me. The codes we find are always in Raw first. (Since Raw is pretty much what the game runs of)

For example the room mod is like.

XXXXXXXX 0000YYZZ

Y Is the room and Z is the world.

Lets say I wana go to the next room up. I just change the YY (which could be 01 to 02.) And bingo next room.

but for armax. All the codes are encyripted so to go the next room up. You have to get the raw code change it to what you want. Use max convert (plus find the game id) and convert it to ARMAX and then put it in as a new code rather then just change one digit.

The choice is obvious.

i prefer AR Max cuz it saves teh code to flash drive instead of memory card. and plus AR Max is WAY more user friendly which earns points for me. but then again, if you dont' have Max COnvert then it sucks

There's no way of saying which is better unless you have both. However, I still say that Codebreaker is better. ARMAX costs $40, Codebreaker costs $20. Codebreaker codes are much shorter, and only involves the digits 0-9 and A-F, ARMAX has 0-9 and the entire alphabet. It's pretty easy to understand how Codebreaker codes work and to the untrained eye, ARMAX codes are completely random.

Given all this, I say Codebreaker wins hands down.

codebreaker does, it have shorter line and can puts some codes that AR MAX can't do if u convert some strange code to AR MAX (for example with 5 at first code), the converter can't convert it to ar max, so codebreaker is the best (i think :D)

but i'm using AR MAX now

I just got a codebreaker

i started the game and played all night

welll....action replay cuase the codebreaker after typing 20 or so codes after u buy it it crashes at the memory card reading screen. so u have to delete the file and retype the codes.and it keeps happening after u type like 5 codes. for me, i have to type atleast 36 codes or so. actually i dont have an action replay so,lol

err well i've never tried Armax but i hate its encryption
codebreaker was lame on my PS2 so i had to get a cracked one =/
so they both didn't like my PS2 to well =P

but overall me = codebreaker

I really hate that thing about Codebreaker about the memory card crash thing after lik 30 codes. It pisses me off so much, especially when i have to reput the Riku code with is 11 lines long..... But i dont have ARmax so i dont care

All you have to do is delete a couple of games you'll never get.. and that wont happen..

and my cousin [2 year old] deleted both of my kingdom hearts.....dang it!!!!

I would go with AR Max although its a pain to use I just look up codes here on KH-Vids. Along with you don't screw up the PS2 or the game as much as a Gameshark or Codebreaker will. (not sure about Codebreaker) Along with less memory loss.:guns::locked2:

I'd go with AR Max. After much research, I thought I'd get it (for PAL) ibnstead of Codebreaker. But, truth be told, I would have been happy with either.

Codebreaker is very good, but:
Action Replay MAX + Max Codelist Manager + MAXConvert kicks CodeBreaker ass easily.

the thing is though you can type the codes, and get the codes you want more easilier, plus if you have an action replay you have to convert everycode, and you could change 50 digits while you only have to change 2 on a codebreake... i could just go on about how many reasons codebreaker is better, escpecially if hack codes, its a lot easier to deal with

That's true, but using MAX Codelist Manager you can type the codes in on your pc. copy paste is SO easy.

I think Action Replay is better because code breaker just helps you beat the game and Action Replay helps you break the rules
