Signature of the Week - IDEA thread

[Darkwatch]

I decided to list every single suggestion ever made so far in this thread, and also add the ones that have been used in every SotW so far. If the suggestion is in red colour it has been used before.

*NEW
Once a suggestion has been picked for the following week’s round, it won’t be used again right away. Instead we will wait for 10 rounds to have passed before it may be picked for another round later. That way we can still use older themes but not cramp them all together. Unused suggestions will still have a higher priority though.

Okay, so, basically, you can come here to post any/whatever idea's you think would be good for sig of the week. Just keep two things in mind: make sure whatever you want to suggest isn't already on the list or has already been used, and try to keep this to strictly only suggestions, to keep the thread clean.

150x400 is too small. Make the max at 420x160. And i dunno about the SOTW's here, people will just vote for the one that looks the best, but they won't look at the skill and time taken for the other sigs. People have to judge in another way. So... there shouldn't be a poll, instead you should post a reason for your vote, a good reason. Bribing and cheating is NOT allowed, Darkwatch i'll edit your posts. I think we are making this idea thing too complicated. ;)

Lets see...
Black and white theme, specific color theme (Eg. use a certain color, say red as the base color for your tag), Music, transparency (Tags with only a transparent background, focusing on the stock and the effects around it), Movies, Actors/actresses, stockless, and ill post more later when i think of some more.
Edit: Also recommend a Vertical tag theme. i will add others later too.

I guess that could work...except for the fact that C4Ds and wireframes can be used as a big part of a tag.

well, that's the point, to test your skill with a single image, if your really that skilled, you should have noproblem doing it, but if people are that much against it, I suppose we could change it so, u can use other images, but the given image must be the focal point.......

either way, im happy, this is where your skill is truly tested, u want a spot on the wall of fame, you gotta earn it......

Hmmmmm. Well My cousins dressed up as Mario and Luigi for Halloween and had little 1-up mushroom shaped candy bags and the joke was: "Do you know how long it took me to find cheats for this?" So you could always use a pic of Mario holding a 1-up mush and use that quote. I think it could be funny :D. But that's my opinion.

My suggestions:

History theme - you could use world history events, or old movies, old school music.. Basicly anything that's a blast from the past for you.

One colour theme - It works like black and white, but you may use one colour of your choice as well.

Animal theme - I blame browsing channels on the TV and hitting Animal Planet for this.. Well, it's rather says it all: your main motive would be of one or more animals, any kind of species.

I don't like History and Animal, but a 1 Color Theme or Specific Style Theme(where everybody says which one style they would like to do and nobody else can do that besides the one who chose) could be nice.

Maybe a Famous Anime theme... You can make a sig from animes you think was the beginning of anime and started other animes...

Funny anime sig - Take a character from the funniest anime you can think of nd make a sig from the funniest things you can think of...

Music lyrics theme - Take lyrics from a song you like put that in the sig and make a sig around it that matches the words...

Color and animal sound good; the only thing with past is that we recently did a 90s theme.
Music's good too, but maybe based on the song and have it optional to put the lyrics in the sig.

Maybe something non-KH vide game related that we haven't done yet?
Maybe something TV related that's not anime.

And for the funny anime thing: I'm not too sure about that because people have different likes and dislikes about what's funny.
For example, I think parts of InuYasha are funny, but One Piece just doesn't interest me at all. :3

If there has been earlier themes, that doesn't mean they can't be used again. :3 So I wouldn't worry about that.

But that idea there is pretty good, maybe have more than just one picture people could pick from. Keep your ideas coming guys, we've got some pretty good ones so far. :>

I like this idea. :] Always interesting to see different artists' takes on the same thing.

Although I'm picky about my stocks so it must be excellent. We should have a rendered version of it too, as some people prefer to use them.

Perhaps a sort of monochrome theme, or something with a sort of "old-time look"? "Black and white" images altered enough to seem as if they existed in the earlier decades.

But sort of tying into Hayabusa's idea, maybe soldiers through time?
So from gladiators to assassins and futuristic warriors there's a fairly good range of choices.
