Can we make it a rule that people are not allowed to quote long posts, or even quote a whole post unless there is a purpose?
People just quote a post and reply, and it starts to get annoying, I know you may be quoting something to reply to THAT PART of the post, but thats the only part needed in the quote.
Does this make sense, or am I just rambling?
Maybe I'm blind.

Lol, just deal with it.
Even if there was a rule, I doubt it'd be followed anymore often than that "six words per post, lolz!" rule.

I can see where just quoting something and having no response outside of the quoting is kind of lame but really, many people quote things and it can have importance in the context of the conversation. I do not see this being changed because it suddenly will get in the way of people communicating things and sometimes quoting sources, information, etc is needed. It's a way to show proof etc. If you don't get why a quote was done post a reply asking what it is for. If it's in the Spam Zone though, they quote things all the time that is just to be amusing so don't take it so serious and move on if it has no meaning to you.

You can always just scroll past the quote, it's not hard.
It'd be an awfully silly rule n' won't come into play. n' Girly, I enforce that rule. RAWR!
