Oh come on, i know there are some basketball fans out there 8D
please don't spam, and don't say
"our state will beat your state" or
"our country will beat yours"
Which Team are you hoping for, and why are you hoping for that team?
How did you get into Basketball and what made it interesting for you?
In my opinion, Im going with Kentucky, since thats my home state :3
I just sort of fell into it this year because my teacher and a boy talk about it nonstop in biology, so i decided to watch some games and get in the discussions with them so i won't be lost

Well I have to say that i'm supporting my Utes this season, but I doubt they will get a chance for March Madness. Honestly i'm not as big of a NCAA fan as I am of the NBA...now that my Jazz have finally started to win and after 10 years made it to the Western Confrence Championship with a team that SI picked to finish last in the conference. This season they are right up there with Houston, New Orleans, Pheonix and San Antonio and with the addition of Korver it looks like the Jazz may make the playoffs again this season.
Here's hoping at least.

Yeah it was a great game and I'm proud of the way they played. They played better then the so-called "experts" said they'll play.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Longtime University of Kentucky basketball equipment manager Bill Keightley died today from internal bleeding caused by a previously undiagnosed tumor on his spine.
Keightley was 81 years old.
According to a news release from UK, doctors believe the internal bleeding began Monday afternoon while Keightley was attending the Cincinnati Reds season opener.
He was taken to University Hospital, where doctors at the trauma center were not able to stop the bleeding, according to Dr. Pete Muskat, Clinical Director of Trauma Services.
Keightley passed away at 7:45 p.m., with his family and members of the UK coaching staff with him at the hospital.
This season was Keightley's 47th at UK. Known as "Mr. Wildcat," he worked under six different coaches – Adolph Rupp, Joe B. Hall, Eddie Sutton, Rick Pitino, Tubby Smith and current Wildcats coach Billy Gillispie.
"This is one of the saddest days of my life," Gillispie said in a statement from Cincinnati Monday night. "I commented earlier today that at the age of 81, he's become one of my very best friends, and the person I was talking to said 'that's what makes him so great, because everyone feels he's their best friend.'" And that's because he was so genuine and so caring about others."

Well I like the Lakers I guess. I'm not American but I still listen to the news whenever its talks about the NBA and stuff. I guess I like Basketball cause its quick, I'm actually not bad in it (I'm lousy in most sports XD), and well I used to play it heaps when I was in grade 7 xDD. I'm actually not sure why I like the Lakers, but I think its cause they're one of the few teams I DO know, and well I know they're quite good.

I support the La Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptars I like all of these because I think they are all great teams and if in a game one of them don't play another one might. I love watching basketball because since I was small I just watched it and enjoyed it and will also enjoy it. I even played it a few years ago but now I don't have the time to play but time to watch.

Mariners, Seahawks, Sonics and Sparks,
The Seattle Sonics are gone sadly. The owners contract would have expired in 2010 but they dropped the franchise early and have moved to a different state. They are now the Oklahoma City Thunder.I don't like them even though they are a new team.

Something like that happened to the Charlotte Hornets too. They had to relocate because of te lease with the Arena they were located at or something. It also happened to the Vancouver Grizzlies who used to be my favorite team years ago.
