Track or Cross Country

Does anyone do track or cross country? I love the sport and i want to get in it more when i am in high school! :)

I ran in a Hershy Track Meet when I was young and I find it really fun :D

Its cross country that makes me resent PE. You end up knee-deep in mud in the freezing rain and wind.

I ran Cross-Country from 7th grade up until my Sophomore year in high school. I probably would have continued, but I took a pretty bad tumble and damaged my ankle. Then, after numerous doctor visits and extensive physical therapy, we discovered my ligaments are too loose to handle a sport like x-country. So basically as much as I like the sport, I can't run it anymore.

I do Indoor and Outdoor Track, and prefer it over cross country, because I'm a sprinter, not a distance runner.

My biology teacher wanted me to join his team because he said I looked like the type that would run really fast and would win.He asked me sooo many times but I refused.I would probably join but I have a physically and health condition.Those two things affect me so bad.Its hard for me to do sports.

DUDE I LUV TRACK AND FIELD. I'm captain of my varsity high school distance team. Track is SOO much fun! Makes u wonder y I don do cross country though.=/

But freshmen year, didnt feel like doing track. next year ill most likely do it

They're both great sports. It all depends on what your interest are. I personally love cross country, because I would rather run through the freezing rain and wind with mud up to my knees than run around in circles.

Don't get me wrong, I love them both. I particularly love hurdles in track. I like jumpind over things. It's not for everyone though. They're both great sports.

I say you do crosscountry. I was on the team this year, and I was pretty good. Ribbon every race I could participate in. But I couldn't race my favorite, and last, race 'cause I injured my ankle...

Wait. CrossCountry's usually in the fall, while track's in the spring. So you could do both... I'm really not all that helpful.

Anyways, hope you decide what you want to do.

Have run both for a fair few years...
Ran cross-country since i was 5-6 and loved it ever since as it was running through mud and cow-fields...
Since mving...I ran in the athletics squad, in and out of school...

X-Counrty is definately the winner fo the two...

Yep I do track and cross country. I can remember back in Fall 2008 I got
20th out of 94 people :D
