So I was thinking of getting Re: Com. (The hard part is convincing my parents to buy it. =P)

So, basically, all I need is a PS2 (it says my PS2 version is SCPH-75001), the Magic Keys (A, B, and C), the Swap Magic discs (CD and DVD), and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix? (<---- I think that's the only way to get Re: CoM in the US?)

Thank you for helping out a weirdo like me. =D

since its a set, it will cost ~$70 with shipping from play aisa.com, good luck convincing your folks to buy it :)
btw, if you save 70 bucks yourself, maybe your small talk will work. and make sure that swap magic dvd disk isnt faulty.

You are damn right so what if it's in Japanese you can always get through the internet a Translation patch!

Forgetting the fact that I don't have adobe on this computer so I can't read pdf's (and don't try to give me a link to download a program, I'm already limited for hard drive space as it is) I think you're talking about a guide that you hold that has the translations that you read while watching the cutscenes. What I was talking about was an actual patch that translates everything for you in the game itself. I know people are working on it, but it to my knowledge it isn't finished yet.

oh yea, i have that, they made a good effort but it really needs some editing. but to get back on topic, yea, need Swap Magic, magic keys (if you have a Slim), a slide card (if you have a FAT PS2), and the game itself.

Kind of but it's not only the translations of cutscenes there are translations about the starting menu, abilities, card information etc. so I have Final Mix + and it looked handy!
