Here's what happened. Sora's parents went looking for him and, while they were gone, his mom became a Nobody and he...um... I guess his dad fell into a volcano or something... Anyway, the Nobody she became is Axel. And that's why Axel loves Roxas so much.
Because before they were Nobodies, she was his Mom!!! ... True story. <.< >.>

What about Riku's parents? Kairi's parents were at Hollow Bastion (if they were still alive) but we only see Kairi's Grandmother.

Presumably all of their parents would've been considerably worried that they all disappeared without reason for over a year.

Also, Riku, Ansem (DiZ) and Mickey never forgot Sora, but everyone else, including Kairi, did.

Heh, this thread is productive and funny,:) but thats beside the point since the parents of all the charachters have absolutly no role in the game exept for slight mention, such as in the first geme when Riku and Sora enter the door out of their world, and Kairi has no known parents. I guess that they remembered they had a son, but could'nt remember who exactly, like Kairi knew Sora was real, but forgot everything about who he was.

What if Sora's parents were killed when destinany islands fell into darkness. I know that everybody returned after the island was brought back, but what if somehow, his parents weren't? And even if they did survive that what about the Orgnization? What if they somehow kidnapped Sora's parents?!
