Do you like the Manga?

Most people that i know of read it and hated it. It has some confusing parts that are not in the game but it helped me at some points.

So the question?: Do you like the Manga and has it ever helped you in some parts?!


Btw: I read one and in the back it had a folded up peice of paper. Wat was it? The games ultimate Code!!:locked2:

The manga was okay, but personaly I thought that it lacked with the battle with Riku/Xeanorts Heartless and Sora. Am I the only one that feels that way?
What is the ultimate code to the game? TELL ME!!!!!!

The manga are good but they battles are not as interesting since they are drawn out.

I like the manga!
But I also agree with K.H.Nut13 and Rikus_blade the battles are not very detailed.
But I did also get some other things that were not clear to me before.
So...what was on the paper??

I thought the battles looked like he just cut them up into 2 panels and didn't do anything else on them.
Anime battles are better. I want to know what was on that paper too!

I know the game plot needs a lot of work, but i still like it better...

It's not as good as the game, but at the same time I like the artwork...not the drawn out battles or anything like that, I mean for references.

I'm leaning toward what darkcloud says, as an artist it is probably more helpful as reference than the game ever was. ( seriously, the hair seem to have this secret recipe to do well on paper ) There was nothing wrong with the art itself, imo it was top notch. Especially how the Disney characters were drawn was rather impressive to me. That was what I looked at first, since we already know the story from the games.

Though the story itself was pretty OK, it's nice to see some random humour used more. (at times overused, yes, but the manga is allowed to do that - the game should stay as the serious buisness part of KH) I'll agree on the battle parts, mostly the big ones like the one against Ansem (lol not really Ansem but whatever) - it was like when a balloon loses it's air, kinda anticlimatic.

Well the manga i do like it but the creator must not have been used to drawing battles because Rumiko Takahashi can do battles easily but heh Some creators have weaknesses

they hardly last
in kh1 manga sora and ansem didnt even fight
i wasted my money
they should make a show
that would be awesome

I enjoyed this manga, but I agree that alot of key important events have been left out, but I understand that it's up to the director to decide what makes it and what doesn't.

i like the manga i havnt read all of KH1 ive read all KH2 and KH COM, at the moment COM is my favourite, i like the funny bits in the manga that you dont get in the game.

Do you think that there should be an anime tv series? but what would the story line be maybe him like on his island and then another adventure, after they have done all the rest i dunno :)

I read some of Kingdom Hearts 1 I didn't like it too much. I have CoM though just because I don't like the battle system of the game and this way I get to know what happened between KHI and KHII. ^_^

I loved the manga. When I was a bit younger, I remember looking in the glass part in the electronics and aying look mom kingdom hearts! but i never got it. So the manga's helped me out on what i missed. I can also rmember making collages of kingdom hearts well sora, and not know who he ever really was. Yay manga! I still need to read the 2 C.O.M tho.

Personally, i liked the manga, but it lacked on battle scenes, most of the cool battles don't appear, and that's a shame, because i wanted to see the Sora vs Riku (possesed by Xehanort's heartless) battle.

Yeah,I own all the manga.But,why did they stop making the Kh2 manga,I was looking forward ot that.I only have books 1,and 2.WTF!But,other than that.I like it alot.

Only own the COM and KHII manga but yeah i like them, mainly cos of the comedy content and those exta things on them.
(Exp: the Castle Oblivion's basement is an actual a basement instead of an empty white room)
