fol I was playing halo 3 at my friends house and I blew the shiznit outa them but one of friends decided to go kamikaze and charged at me while i was in a tnak and he chanted "My name is joe haboobie "(kid at school name is joe habib) and "for the way of the muslim" and thats how he got his revenge while my other friend sniped him and I blew him up :3.....I have a feeling that this isn't gonna make any sense once I post this

DDR's also fun, but I suck at that. I don't have the eye-foot coordination necessary. ^^;;

Anyone here still play any megaman games? My personal favorites are X5 and X6...Best 2-D platformer I've ever played and unlike Mario it has an actual storyline. Prince of Persia...just gotta love the story, combat, and music.
Zone of the Enders 2...best giant robot game ever. So much action...yet the story could have been longer. Takes 1 day to beat on normal mode.

Actually I agree. I would consider playing a Video Game more of a passtime than a Hobby (there's a difference xD). Hobbies usually require a more active role to be honest. I suppose it's just a matter of opinion but there is already a whole video game forum which you can do this in xD

To me...video games will always be my favorite hobby. Now I just can't wait to upgrade from my PS2 and get a PS3...probably buying it on Monday or Tuesday...Anyone besides me heard of The Force Unleashed? It's probably one of the best games I've seen in awhile and I can't wait to pick it up once it comes out.

Yeagh. I heard that LucasArts is using new technologies so that enemies can react with their environment.

ex:
Stormtroopers will take cover and grab ledges when falling
A wooden pillar will or stone pillar will scatter into shards if hit with a heavy object. Gungans generaly won't make a mark. Metal will dent if hit by a heavy object, like an AT-AT. actualy, I think that would crush the metal.

Also, at some point the apprentice uses the force to single handedly take down a star destroyer.

I view it as a competitive hobby. Sports is to physical athleticesm as video games are to mental athleticism.

Im personaly thinking of trying a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament. Im still training after losing misarbly to my best friend yesterday.

I've got a GameBoy Color and Advance, PS1, PS2, Nintendo DS, PSP, and...That's it, prettymuch. Unless you count the computer, which I don't really play games on.

Kingdom Hearts was what got me into any form of videogaming (although moreso anime), and since discovering it in '06 I've played several Final Fantasy games as well. In March I became utterly obsessed with the .hack series, particularly G.U., and I played those until around late May when I finally finished the third game in the G.U. trilogy...Now there's what's left of the .hack media to cover...I tried one of the original games but I could NOT figure it out, lol...

Anyway, other than that I've played some random stuff here and there, i.e. Ace Combat 5, Gran Turismo 4, DDR, etc. ... But that's prettymuch it =/...I'm hoping to get The World Ends with You and Crisis Core soon, though...

YES, ugh, it was like a nightmare...Probably part of the issue with it was that awful camera. Seriously, and people said the Kingdom Hearts camera was bad...XDD The camera in .hack was rediculous if you ask me, I got some of the wierdest angles with that thing...I'd just lightly tap a button on the controller and it would shoot up and over Kite to the point where he was a speck on the screen...>>;
Anyway, maybe that's just me. The one I tried was Outbreak, a friend loaned it to me in the hopes I could get somewhere in it, but I gave up pretty fast. o.o;

I stopped playing because I beat the game and don't feel like going into the New Game + thing right now...The last two fights are epic and sad...no not Genesis. He is cool but not as epic as the real last two battles. I don't want to spoil anything for those who don't know about FFVII...

Prince of Persia Prodigy(I wonder if that's it's name or if it's still Ghosts of Past...)...Just so awesome. The AI, the new graphics, the one-on-one combat thing...
Beyond Good and Evil 2 and Red Dead Revolver 2 are also things I'm waiting for...as well as The Force Unleashed...

PS2 is the best. It's pretty much the longest lasting 3D console. It was released in 2000 and they're still making games for it now. That has to be some sort of record.

Yeah, it's true. And in terms of gameplay, the PS2 is actually better than the PS3, thus far. (FFX, X-2, XII, KH1 and 2, Re:CoM...)

I love the PS1 as well, of course. I still play PS1 games on a regular basis. It does actually have some of the best games ever created. (FFVII,VIII,IX,Crono Cross, Xenogears...)

The 360, to me, only has Halo and Gears(Ninja Gaiden 2 if you're into that as well). Seriously...where would the Xbox be without Halo?
Sony has...lots of stuff. I'm a bit biased but...Ratchet and Clank, Medal of Honor, Prince of Persia(the PS2 has all 3 games...I don't think the Xbox got all 3), Beyond Good & Evil, MGS, Devil May Cry(isn't it for the Xbox and 360 as well? I dunno...), KH series, and other stuffs...
I haven't really found anything too interesting in the Xbox...but that's just me.
The PS2 should get an award or something for all the time it's been on top. Seriously...

It's one of those games that make beating the crap out of your friends fun.

There is a surprising amount of strategy involved, but your just as likely to win if you let an angry dog chew on the controler.

...I wish there was a download so you could use the Mortal Kombat theme in a custom stage.

Sony has...lots of stuff. I'm a bit biased but...Ratchet and Clank, Medal of Honor, Prince of Persia(the PS2 has all 3 games...I don't think the Xbox got all 3), Beyond Good & Evil, MGS, Devil May Cry(isn't it for the Xbox and 360 as well? I dunno...), KH series, and other stuffs...
I haven't really found anything too interesting in the Xbox...but that's just me.
The PS2 should get an award or something for all the time it's been on top. Seriously...

i agree the xbox would probably be nowhere without the halo series and other series you said but the playstaion supported a hell more series then just that, and now xbox is getting better ranks now that xbox now has Soulcaliber 4

PS3 ftw. I beat Assassin's Creed a few days ago, beat R&C Future: TOD, and I'm planning of getting The Force Unleashed soon(although I know the entire plot) since I've heard a lot of good things about it...
Can't wait for the new PoP game! Rrrraaaawwwrrrr!!! Prince of Persia owns all(okay not really).

Or Pokemon games when I'm bored.
I can beat these in like 10-30 minutes, because I know where everything is.
But sometimes I play Tales of Symphonia.
All of them are good.

I ADORE anything final fantasy or kh, of course, but i love SSBB, guitar Hero :3 generally any racing games, old school sonic games etc.. Zelda, (any of them) and Pokemon games if Im in the mood xD Oh and crisis core pwns. xD

I really like the Jak and Daxter series. My sister got the first one for a christmas present so many years ago when we first got our PS2. So it was one of our first games... I haven't actually finished the third one yet 'cause it broke before I had the time, but my sis found it in one store yesterday so we bought it ^^

I've grown out of video games over the years, now only mildly interested in Kingdom Hearts or Ratchet & Clank. Now, I just spend time watching all my cartoon DVD's. The only game I still play to this day is Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, for the simple reason that, in terms of everything, it's the most perfect thing to ever emerge from the gaming industry in the history of interactive entertainment.
