The Monster In Secret Ending!!!

Has anybody noticed that the giant dragon-like monster in the secret ending is actually the one you fought before the final battle with Xemnas? If so, tell me your theories, but you may need to look closely at the secret ending.

I got a private message indicating that the weapons of the org. members are parts of the monster. Thank you Strife531.

It's about time some else noticed, forgot to post that, glad you did though. Yeah, it is the monster you faced at the end, point being that KHIII takes place in the future (although there was an interview w/ Namura where he vaguely stated w/out giving anything away that the people in armor are from the past and future :/ if that makes any sense).
So how did that monster end up wherever the secret ending takes place? Perhaps that is all thats left of the World That Never Was...?
Did you notice though that when the armored character steps off, the monster does that dematerializing type thing that is featured in the intro to KHII (!) :0. I was thinking that the whole dematerializing thing was a theme or something. In the intro, I figured that it signified that those things were forgotten. Maybe the monster becomes a lost memory or something...? :/
This needs some more peoples' thoughts.

Wowza!:eek: I thought I was the only one in these whole damn forums who noticed that! Anywho, I think it was a monster heartless that was sent to kill the chaser(s), but was killed without much effort.

Ligitimate addition to the theory VideoGameNerd246, when the armored knight steps off of the dragon-thing it looks like he just wooped its ***... ut it would be unlikely considering it was part of the final battle...and what Marluxia XI noted (organization XIII weapons around it)

And by the way :O, wow, didn't notice the weapons Marluxia XI, I'll have to check that again,cool, good eyes!

In addition, in the final battle, facing Xemnas, when he's on the dragon, he is also armored(!) - just like (or strikingly similar to) those in the secret video(!). Dunno if you caught that or it just slipped your mind maybe. I noticed this when watching the video winner on the site (by the way nice work Tom D. :D). Maybe Namura was alluding towards something...?

hey dudes one question more. The monster.... it was disintegrating into sand when the chaser was on it didnt it? so maybe in that screenshot of the chaser with half the mask broken off thats how it happened. (Or I didnt look closely enough.

To be completely honest I shunned that thought the first time I saw the secret ending. . .since I was just so happy I didn't care. xD

But yeah, I seriously haven't thought about whether it is that dragon or not. Probably is, or not.

Hadn't taken a good look at the monster when I saw thew ending. I'm guessing you guys are talking about the Dragon in the before last battle of KH2 right cuz I got confused.

However, I don't think the way he disentegrates has to do with the way Kairi Sora and Riku disintegrate in the intro movie cuz in the real story they don't actually disintegrate. It's just a quick way of summarizing the storm in the intro movie.

by the way libregkd said the same thing about the weapons in the secret ending in "New Interview Info" forum under "News and Updates". I must not be looking hard enough because all I'm seeing is the structure of the dragon. By the way, its seems that Xigbar has a connection w/ the armored knights (so says the forum). Just adding info to the mix here

Yeah, in an interview Tetsura Nomuya sid that Xigbar had a connection. He may be the blurred figure walking towards them?

I don't think Xigbar is in Kingdom Hearts 3,since he got Terminated by Sora in TWTNW.I think the knight walking up to them chasers might be Xehanort or Something.but that still leaves the identity of the 3 chasers.(My guess.It could be Sora,Riku,and Kairi.cause when half the mask came off that one knight,the face looked kinda like Sora.Its my opinion so I could be wrong.)

A lot of people have the same speculation as you, AnimeGirl104, however, in an interview Namura cleared the popular theory by saying that the 3 armored characters are completely new, however they may be connected to one one or more characters already introduced.
Me I'm kind of glad it's not Sora...why?...cus' that'd be too easy :P. Plus it adds to the KH world. Some say that the armored man w/ the smashed helmet is perhaps Sora's father. Hmmm, interesting, but this still doesn't answer why the dragon is in the secret video :/

this will probably sound dumb but i think that xemnas... or the ??? created from xehanorts soul is in there and that xehanort was one of the first chasers but lost his memory and turned to ansem the wise for guidance.Yada yada yada heartless possesses riku to gfet keyblade riku ends up with it yada yada xemnas turns into part of the chaser's ttue form with the memories he remember's from hingdom hearts itself and then the???becomes a caser again and slays the dragon that came with him as it epresents how xehanort was the chaser who followed the darkness.

Nice theory, riku sora kairi own, I understand what you're saying, that definitely sounds ligit, apparently the male knight is considered a friend by one of the org. leaders (see promo video) so maybe it is who you say it is.
In regards to the dragon dematerializing, I think it might be becoming a lost memory or something to that effect. Just a hunch.

I want to encourage everyone to take a look at the promo video, especially the very very end w/ the split second glimpses of the ??? (knight) in the chamber w/ the organization member. Reading the info posted on the main page under the video...apparently the org. member refers to this male armored knight as a friend. So chew on it.

My theory pawns all :p . About KH3 that is.
Years before Sora's adventure, there was a great war. In a place between worlds, there were those known as "Chasers", those who had manifested great power and chanelled it through weapons they experly crafted known as the Keyblades. There were four Chasers.

The Chasers all had to power to create, save, destroy and lock world's hearts. Their keyblade gave them enough power to unlock the energy of a worlds physical heart and be able to move from world to world.

The Chasers began to follow their own ambitions. In the place between worlds, where all of their keyblades laid to rest, the four seperated. Two followed the path of light, bringing life to the worlds, following the paths of Light and Twilight. The other two, they grew unhappy and decided that those who did not respect them should perish. They followed the path of Darkness. They began to bring destruction to worlds, destroying them.

One of the two Dark Chasers realized the faults in his ways and decided to back out. Much as Riku did, this Chaser follows the path of Dawn back to the Crossroads where he is forgiven for his ways. The final Chaser, the one they called Xehanort, would not give up, would not give in. The war began, it is unknown for how long this terrible time lasted. It has been recorded though and the Chasers are much like gods.

The war was either between great armies or just between the four Chasers, either way, the Dark Chaser, the Dark Keyblade Master known as Xehanort fought against the others in a great Keyblade war.

Xehanort was defeated, and with that, he lost something dear: his memory. Cast away he was born again by sleep. Waking up in the world of Radiant Garden, almost dead, a great Saint known as Ansem found him and offered his assistance. He promised to help him and when he realized the man's memory was gone, he offered to help restore it.

The Chasers each had the ability to spread their power to a disciple or their spirits lived on through a bloodline or chosen ones. Passing their power on to make sure to Order of the Worlds was kept safe.

One Keyblade went to the King of all the Worlds: Mickey.

When Xehanort began to believe he was in fact Ansem, his fascination with the Keyblades grew. Unknowning even to himself who he was.

When the Heartless were born and began to create chaos, Riku was chosen to weild the next Keyblade, to save the people from destruction while Mickey was in the World of Darkness. But, Riku's heart was tainted by his willingness to let darkness overcome him and the Keyblade was passed on to Sora.

After being selected first and later overcome by Xehanort, Xehanort was able to harvest his power to reclaim his Dark Keyblade and thus, Riku was able to have his own.

The final Keyblade was unnecessary until later, when the goodness and innocence of Kairi was able to bring hope to the other Keyblade Weilders and she too was chosen.


Roxas only had ones because he is an element of Sora.

After their adventures had ended, Mickey sends a troubling letter to Sora, Kairi and Riku. A letter that reveals Xehanort's next plot. That he has perhaps remembered his true self. A plot to destroy the other Chasers, a plot to be the one and only Keyblade Master.

A great beast is sent to the Crossroads between worlds but is slain by one of the Chasers. The others appear from their selected paths and reclaim their Keyblades, as though they haven't been touched in a long time. They look to the road of Darkness and the shady figure of Xehanort moves forward. Through his time within Riku, he is essentially "reborn" and while Riku tries to remove him, he is never gone. With enough power he returns to the Crossroads and a great war is about to begin once again. One that will decide the fate of the Chasers and all of those who hold a Keyblade...

How do you guys/girls see the Org. XIII's weapons?! I don't see them. I'm watching the video over and over on YouTube and pausing it to where the dragon is barely seen. And I don't see them.

EDIT: Oh... heh heh, I see them now. Yeah, it does look like Xigbar's weapons and Vexen's...shield? If it is the shield.
