I don't think it was temporary, just that Kairi doesn't really know how to use it, so she doesn't think to call it back.

yeah roxas was surprised cause i think you can only call back a keyblade if you have a heart. In kh1 sora called his keyblade ( when Riku stold it from him) when he talked about how much his friends mean to him and stuff.

kairi may have had a keyblade for a little while, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have it. like the other keyblades, she could probably call it at will, like sora does. so namine would probably have her keyblade too. maybe in kh3, kairi or sora might use that keyblade again...

Namine said that she was a nobody when she was explaining to roxas what a nobody was. We still don't know whether kairi used the keyblade for that battle only or she could use the keyblade again.

the sharing opf the keyblade makes since. But if you noticed, Kairi never went to the Station of Sernity. therefore, it never showed how she would get the keyblade in the first place. Which brings me to another topic. In the KH2 FM+ secret ending, the knights never "summon" the keyblades. They just take them from the ground. So, do you think that the keyblade that was given to kairi was the same? It wouldnt have real summoning powers etc? Becuase she only attacked with it and never actual used magic

Namine would not have a keyblade. The keyblade has to choose you. Kairi's keyblade had NO key chain and was in my opinion like the red and black keyblade that Riku had when he was possessed by Ansem. (that was fake)

Well when Sora became a Heartless, he had a Keyblade. Kairi just recently obtained a Keyblade and Namine was born way before that so I dont think that is possible

Ok I looked at he video. That is definitely a keyblade but there are a few point i want to bring up.
1) You never see Riku summon that keyblade
2) Riku hasn't been able to summon two keyblades yet, but he summons another one after Kiari goes into battle.
3) If that is Riku's keyblade. Why the hell is it so girly?
4) The key-chain is a paopu fruit, which means very little to Riku.

You're right, it probably would.

I just don't know though. Kairi was probably able to wield the keyblade because she was a princess of heart. Well, she was like the main princess of heart. I think. I don't know! Naminé would only be able to if kairi was able to call hers back, which we don't know, becuase she's never had a reason to.

Oh, and about Riku summoning 2 keyblades, I doubt that he is incapable. If Sora can control two without even touching them, Riku definatly can summon 2 and 2 different times.

The paupu (sp?) fruit as a keychain is cute for kairi. Naminé's keychian would probably be a colored pencil. Maybe it would have a book with a drawing of flowers or something like Kairi's keyblade becuase she is kairi's nobody.

But why would Naminé have a reason to fight?

It was because Riku was a chosen one of the keyblade. He kept Sora's blade until Sora overpowered his heart. Roxas didn't have this ability his heart was not strong enough, so Riku could keep it.

didnt read all of this thread, but if anyone still thinks kairis keybalde is a fake, theyre wrong. you can weild it in kh2. it has a keychain. if it didnt, i'd be like those keyblades in BBS that dont have keychains. therefore it came from the same place as all the others.

There is debate about whether the Keyblade Riku gave to Kairi is even more than a temporary pseudo-Keyblade, though it does have a Keychain, so it may be possible. He may have either given it to her after finding it somewhere, or he made it which could have been something he learned to do from his time spent stuck with Xehanort's Heartless.

Either way though, there's nothing to say Namine, who was considered to be 'less' than other Nobodies, as in she was a shroud even to them, would get a Keyblade just because Kairi would have one. Kairi did not have a Keyblade before Riku handed her the one he had to give. Therefore, since Namine wasn't even -in- Kairi at the time, how would she evolve herself to get one?

Another point with this is that Roxas is no ordinary Nobody and yeah, Namine was unique, but Roxas actually may be a part of Ven who was also a Keyblade Wielder, and may have retained some of his Heart. Axel even asks him if he thought he had a Heart or not and does make a comparison to Sora in an empathic sort of way to relate them. Roxas was perhaps the most complete Nobody other than Xemnas, and maybe even more so because he still kept the Keyblade and to do so he had to have a piece of his Heart. The Keyblade is said to go to someone with a Heart. Seems to be a requirement, so I'm betting he had some portion, even if he lost quite a bit. The only way Roxas got screwed was because Sora was only a Heartless for a very temporary time and then Kairi healed him so Roxas did not have memories to even understand why he was named as he was.

It might be possible that Namine could in the future (if she ever came back) use the Keyblade connected to Kairi, but also not possible if she returns as she was. I wouldn't write it off in a future game, and I do think the Keyblade Riku gave her may just be a permanent thing, but I'm also confused as to why, if it was, she didn't have it drawn when they went to open the door and all. She didn't have the thing at all after the scene of her bopping the Heartless on the head and all. I suppose in KH3 we will see if it was a temporary creation by Riku or not. It's pretty vague right now.
