Roxas/Cloud Riku/Sephiroth Conenctions?

I developed a theory earlier, while playing Mario Kart DS.


Could Roxas have a Connection to cloud, and Riku a conenction to Sephiroth?

1.Roxas and CLoud both had problems choosing ebtween Dark and Light.
2.Roxas and Cloud both have spiky blond hair.
3.Sephiroth and Riku both have Long Silver hair
4.Riku and Roxas battled.


Whaddya think?

Sephiroth is the darkness from Cloud's memories. Riku is someone who believes in using the darkness to get what he wants, which isnt really evil. Riku is not a being of pure darkness and hatred Iike Sephiroth. No connection there. Roxas doesnt really have a tough time choosing between light and darkness (He left the Organization on his own choice.) Cloud struggles with something that cant be erased, his past. Theres a little similarity there I guess.

They probably did the spiky hair thing-ma-bobby to get the same looks of Cloud and Sephiroth. Square Enix heros always seemed to have to have spiky haire.

Final Fantasy VII was made Before KH was even thought of, so no connection there.

Eh, no connection, apart from the same coloured hair and both having fan-girls.

Though I reckon Riku being related to Sephiroth, like sharing Jenova cells would be pretty interested.

Lol I don't think it's a 'connection'.

More like a mirror resemblance. =P

Actually, I find more resemblance in:

Riku --> 'Ansem' (Xehanort's Heartless)
Cloud --> Sephiroth

The reasons are probably obvious: 'Ansem' and Sephiroth are both manifestations of the darkness in Riku and Cloud's hearts. Although 'Xehanort's Heartless' was defeated by the end of KH1, I think the fact that he continually shows up--not to mention Riku takes on the form of Xehanort's Heartless in KH2--shows that Riku's darkness has somewhat identified itself and is represented by Xehanort's heartless. Similarly, you can conjecture the same thing about Cloud and Sephiroth; there is enough evidence in FFVII and FFVII:AC to back up that Sephiroth is a large representation of Cloud's darkness (or more specifically, his guilt/past/resentment, etc).

Well hair has nothing to do with it because Square Enix has an obsestion of having at least one charcter in there games to have spikey hair that defines all gravity. (I dont know why >_<) As for everything else, I have no clue. O.o
