Kingdom Hearts Section

This is a guideline for the entire Kingdom Hearts section of the forums, which encompasses all of the games. Please read before posting so that you are aware of the rules. If there are any inquiries regarding what is posted here, please feel free to PM a Mod of the area, an S.Mod or an Admin and we'll be glad to explain things in more detail.

The Rules

1. No more 'Who would win?', "What/Who is your favorite <whatever>?, or threads that have little to do with the KH games. There are some already posted that are accepted and left open, so go to the Sticky thread in each forum and look up what threads already exist. Also, no 'Do you hate <insert character name> threads. You are welcome to post threads asking people's opinions on characters and expressing how you feel, but do not just post 'hate threads'.

2. No posts in this area referring to mundane inquiries of 'guesswork' such as 'If KH characters had MP3 players, what songs would they have?' or "What did Sora eat for dinner?" These do not contribute to the games in any way and though they may be topics you wish to discuss, it is encouraged that they are done in the Spam Zone. In that area, you can ask pretty much whatever you want and get some zany responses. This area is meant to pertain to the games and debate on actual things in them.

3. Please think before you post a thread. Make your first post clear so members do not post the first few replies asking what you meant. It can be frustrating for members to try and guess what the purpose of the thread is, plus it just fills the thread with spam. If it is so confusing, you may be asked to clarify what you mean and if it is a repeat pattern, threads will simply be closed to stop everyone from being bedazzled by bizarreness. Also, keep "text talk" to a minimum.

4. Make sure you try and post the thread in the right section, don’t just create it anywhere. It makes the forum look more unorganized. Kingdom Hearts II topics go there. Kingdom Hearts topics go in the Kingdom Hearts section. Chain of Memories topics go...you guessed it. Upcoming games are for the BBS, 358/2 Days and Coded games. There also is an area for KH2:FM+ and Re:CoM. There is a Help area which can be used to ask any questions pertaining to -any- of the Kingdom Hearts Games.

5. Don’t spam. If you wish to discuss something else than what the current topic you are browsing in is about, feel free to create a new thread in the appropriate place. Keep topics on topic. Spam will get deleted and repeat offenses of it will get you a warning, so let's keep spam out!

6. Six words per post. (It's also the 6th rule, conveniently) This was introduced sometime ago, but has been enforced infrequently. If members are caught not posting six or more words, staff will most likely delete the post with a message. If you continue to do it a warning will be issued for spamming. Posts count here, so make the post worth it. On the same note, do not copy and paste from someone else's post and put less than 6 words in your own. Their post will not count as words you can type yourself.

7. Use the search button, it’s there for a reason. If you want to create a thread about Riku’s Keyblade the probability of it already being made is high. It is there to help you. If a staff member knows one was created previously they will close the most recent one or merge it.

8. Necro-bumping is allowed, to an extent. You may only bump old threads if you have something to contribute to the discussion of the topic. Also, you can look in each area to see if there is a stickied topic with 'Polls/Favorite Threads' and this will help you to avoid making duplicate posts. Duplicate posts will be deleted/closed.

9. Problem threads. If a member notices that a thread needs close/moved etc, please just PM one of the staff members that is allocated to the section, S.Mod or Admin. Don’t post in the thread saying, ‘I’ll contact a Mod.’, it is an unnecessary post. Also, if you have complaints about the threads being closed or moved, please PM a Mod of this area, S.Mod or Admin (preferably the one who did the action if you know) to question why rather than opening a thread concerning that in this area.

10. No flaming or harassment. Please be considerate to all posters here and realize that not everyone shares your points of view. Do not incite fights, flame members or harass people. This is a general rule around the forums and in here many topics are posted pertaining to theories, thoughts etc on the games. Be respectful.

11. Read the stickied threads, they're also there for a reason. Before posting a thread asking a question about a release date or anything about the upcoming games, please refer to the stickied threads about the game. Often, people ask questions and those questions are answered in the thread itself (like the discussion threads). You can use the in-thread search to see if your question has been answered, and if not, then you can post it. Providing that it's a valid question, of course.

That's all folks! Thanks for reading these rules and let's all follow them mutually and enjoy some quality chat together over the games.
