I went to KHInsider cause I was bored, to find out a new rumor of KH Coded coming to PSP in 2009, this is probably a lie, explain your thoughts here :D

I don't think it will since it's going to be for cell phones. If the game also came out on PSP I would be happy so I wouldn't have to play it on the cell phone but right now I've heard nothing yet to validate that rumor.

Since when are cell phones a console? Making games avalible for cell phones is pretty lame. It's totally not the purpose of a cell phone and it's annoying when you get calls that interrupt the game.

I think he was trying to say that someone could make an emulator to emulate cell phone games on the PSP. Well, I am currently learning PSP programming and assembly language, maybe if I get good enough I will make one. But don't expect anything in the near future. . .

Well, Japanese cell phones are way more advanced than phones anywhere else in the world; they're what many Japanese people use for many functions a computer can do, if I remember correctly. So, it's kinda becoming a console, at least in Japan.

Also, FF Agito XIII was announced for PSP instead of cellphone finally, so it wouldn't surprise me if Coded went there too.

I hope it's for PSP, but the iPhone (and therefore the iPod Touch) could probably handle it. they shouldn't make it for normal Cell Phones, just the iPhone

Oh please, the iPhone is not god. MANY phones could handle a game like that, especially if it's something like tetris or a puzzle. And if it was made just for the iPhone, there would be little to no sales, as I don't think the iPhone is popular in Japan.
It's possible, I guess. Maybe Nomura wants to see how it's recieved first and then go from there...?

Nah, I don't think so. They wanted to balance the games into the different handhelds (1 game for each handheld), so if they put coded on the psp, the balance would be kinda broken ... altough I would love it on the psp, I just don't see it happen :/

Oh, by the way: the PSP is,though comparable, ultimately weaker than the PS2, and though I can't recall any specific examples at the moment, I'm sure I've seen sprite-based PS2 games, so...

The Formatting and Emulation settings are different for psp and phones. Unless someone could make an emulator, which would take possibly years, as sony has introduced 3 different versions of the psp, all of which has a unique emulation setting. Even if that is possible, the first version will need to be updated with plugins regularly, so your psp memory will be full and therefore laggy as hell. So slow that it's not even worth the wait. I don't think you can make ROM's for phones on psp. Infact I don't think anyone has ever attempted it. So If you get it wrong you could muck up your psp. The guy who made the NO$GBA had to a new pc 19 times just to get the coding right on the NDS emulator. Would any of you waste money on 19 psp just to get the coding right. Your better getting a phone.

I readed somewhere that the US is starting to get a new generation of cellphones like those in Japan, since we're starting to get these, we should be getting new games.

Also, I readed somewhere that the mobile exclusive FF IV The After was going to be released into another console to the US, to the Wii, to be more expecific.

There is a Cell phone game emulator for the PSP on pspkvm.com. It emulates Javascript games for the PSP
However, you must have a hacked PSP to use it. I'm going to try it out, but I don't have any Javascript games to test it out with.
