The last boss might be some kind of Virus. Pretty obvious when we think about the enemy called Bug.

I'll be happy just as long as that bug looks NOTHING like Sehanort, Xehanort's heartless, or Xemnas.:p

Although I will be happy if it looked like that giant boat thingie at the end of KH.:)

Personally, I want the last boss to be like a Data Sora that got corrupted. Or Jiminy messes with the computer while Mickey is inside and accidentally makes a copy of the Data Sora by the magic that is copypasta.
Ooh! Ooh! Even better! When the MCP was about to be deleted, he actually transferred to another drive on the comp., and then transferred himself to Mickey's comp., infecting it without knowing that it's Mickey's. He makes the bugs, along with an Avatar to represent himself. This Avatar is a version of the Tron world Sora, because he is the most powerful being the MCP can immediately think of. So, MCP adds bugs to each world, making things harder for Data Sora. This might also explain UCM(Unknown Cloaked Man). That's a new version of Sark made from MCP's memory and put into the form of Tron in an Org. Suit! Of course, this is all speculation.

A cool thought:

What if the last boss is the 14th member? She would have been turned into data from the journal. I mean, maybe Mickey met Xion so she would be the ERROR of the journal. Maybe she has cool final form like an armor.

I like your idea,but World-only charaters will never be that important,at leats i think so....

i know this is goig to sound stupid but in one of the trailers, it shows somebody in a black coat, i think that there is a 15th member. riku replica's fragile or fake heart could have been strong enough to produce a nobody and he somehow was in the journal.

I think it's Xehanort [whole] the Xehanort we see in KH2. When a heartless is slain 1st and then the nobody the person's heart, soul and body combine together and your whole again. And since we defeated his heartless then his nobody[Xemnas] in order he's back to his old form as we saw him in KH2 while he was working under Ansem the Wise.

Uhhh, yeah I don't think Xehanort will be the last boss on 358/2 days. The story has to do with Roxas' days spent in the Org. I doubt he will battle the superior or leader of his crew.

yeah MCP holds no water. he is a world specific villain so the chances of him magically being promoted to final boss status is slim to none. i'd say bug Xehanort makes the most sense. final bosses are really hard to make out when you don't know much about the story

I think we will be fighting a messed-up data of the antagonist. Like for example, we are fighting Marluxia, the screen crashes and we switch to some kind of mixed between the org members, some creepy looking heartless or a splice of Xehanort's Heartless and Nobody.

Maybe he would be called: "The Superior Seeker of Darkness".

Xemnas is dead but this game takes place after the events of KH2, and in it are recollections of old bosses.

I still stick with my earlier accusations.

A bug version of Xehanort makes the most sense.
An Organization member makes some sense, considering the game refers to a "them".
But the cloak doesn't necessarily mean it's from the Organization. (i.e. Riku and Mickey)
We also don't know if the Cloaked guy is an antagonist for sure.

Since we're a data Sora, it makes the most sense that it'd be a data enemy.
If I'm right, one of the plotlines in Coded is that the virtual Sora starts to develop a heart.
Maybe he fights Mickey for the right to exist?
That seems unlikely, though.

I have the feeling that the final boss is going to be data of Xion.

Reasoning:
She was supposed to merge and become Sora if his memories didn't take. The journal said, "We must return to free them from their torment." It's probably referring to the lingering torment inside of Sora that's being caused by Xion. He has to go in there and see that Xion existed and defeat her to put her at ease.

And then there'll be some super awesome connective line to Kingdom Hearts III: The Keyblade Wars.

In BBS, You will probably be fighting the real xehanort. Not his heartless. In KH1 you fought the fake Ansem (Riku), and in KH2 you fought his Xehanort's heartless. So, when you fight him it will probably be very different. Something to look forward to :). Hope this answers your question. In Days, I'm not sure.

Xeharnort has alot of forms at the end of the game

In kh1 you fought Xeanorts heartless as the final boss not riku and in kh2 you fought Xemnas Xeanorts nobody and have you forgot about chain of memories the end boss was Marluxia and days I wont spoil it but no Xeanort

Xeanorts heartless you have to do alot of thing in order to get donald and goofy on your team

Certainly hope that any incarnation of Xehanort isn't included. That routine has been done to death.
