Anyway, I like voice acting. I want to do it as well, but there's a problem with my voice. I have a Dutch accent, and my voice is really monotone.

i can do like Aerith's voice n FF characters occassionally i've been told i sound exactly like Roxas occassionally...and I am a girl so that sort of scares me i'm practising Kairi n Naminé's voices n they seem to be goin quite well but i can do quite a few voice:)

I was told before that I can copy off several voices [including my friends - I help in prank calls x3]. I was told that I can sound like those chibi voices [yes, chibi x3] and Jigoku Shoujo's, Enma Ai also several other characters but I can't remember them >w<

One of my biggest dreams is to be a VA. Seriously, one of the best ways to practice is by reading books outloud and giving the characters voices. That's what I do.

Anyway, once I finish high school, I plan to take a road trip to Canada. That's where all the good jobs are. *cough* Every anime in America comes through Canada *cough cough*

I've been trying to get into acting lately. The main path I'm aiming toward is voice acting (and maybe try my hands on Japanese seiyuu). I wish I could record my voice ranges but I don't have a microphone yet. =|

I can go really low for a girl so I probably can do boys' voices too. The lowest range for me is probably almost baritone and highest is probably alto. I'll try to put up some sort of examples in the future.

I'm also into the whole VA interest. I've been working on videos where I dub Roxas and Zack from Crisis Core. I'm not sure if I did a decent job on the Zack parts, but my Roxas dubs have been pretty successful. I also hope that one day I can get into it that field. Right now, I’m actually thinking about taken up some vocal lessons to expand my voice a bit more.

Naturally, I'm able to sound like Roxas only because I sound like Jesse McCartney. Sadly, I can't imitate anyone else because his voice is the only that's pretty close to my voice. I've attempted to also dub some Mickey Mouse and Sora lines and they weren't all that bad.

Well, I'm kinda into the voice-acting scene. I hate hearing my own voice recorded back, except if it's good... trust me, my delete button is nearly broken...

But, I do a few odd jobs in voicing now and then. I voice in a couple of SSBB Machinima series, and my own, of course. (convienently, none of these are actually out yet ¬_¬).

I've been trying to get into the Fan-dubs as well. I've tried doing stuff for characters like Riku, Cloud, Sephiroth, Wakka (even I'm suprised at this one), and even Neku. I've just never submitted any of these works in before to Fan dubs, simply 'cause I think there aren't good enough. Save for Neku, I think I can do him quite well, but can't find any TWEWY fan-dubs/Radio-plays.

I guess you could call me a VA out of work. hehe...

Here's some words of advice since I'm a fellow VA as I do Jaden/Judai Yuki on CanisSkye's Fandubs

1. Keep practicing even if you think you sound horrible, after all, great VA's such as Steve Blum, Laura Bailey, Vic Mignogna etc aren't born with the right voice for the characters they practice more and more to get their voices to what the characters would sound like.

2. Get audio prgrams such as Sony Vegas, Audacity, Cool Edit Pro or Adobe Audition, there are tons of cool software to change your voice such as female, sped up and stuff.

3. Have fun with it, it's a wonderful experience to have a go, if you are just trying to VA to get attention, you don't know the fun part, take Abridged Series for example, the people who voice those parodies don't look for attention or profit but just want to have fun and want everyone else to enjoy it as that puts all their hard work to thsoe voices to good use.
