Yeah Runescape sucks big time! I mean, the only thing keeping you from dying of boredom are the little quests they provide. Seriously, even the quests aren't that good. And yes, it's VERY glitchy and the music + graphics are horrible.

I partly agree. This game would be great if it had beter sounds, more actiony, and way better graphics. There was one part I liked, and that was being a member and just joining since you think everything is so cool because you can do 'this' and 'that'.

Anyway, on topic, I don't like runescape, I haven't gone on in years, I only went on to hang with my other friend who is so funny. He doesn't really like runescape but does random things for laughs. He does random and stupid things on runescape, like he stands, in a passage, and when people run, he follows them and goes "No running in the hallways."
Or that time he said to go to the wilderness, so we could go and kick Hill Giants. And then he goes up to a skeleton enemy, and asks it for directions.

I have a lot of funny adventures with that guy! Like we were training in some mines, and these two girls come up to ask us who was prettier, and I was thinking. " The runescape graphics are ugly, everyone in the whole game is ugly..." But my friend walks up to the and drops a log on the floor, and says.
"The log is the prettiest!" I cracked up laughing so hard I nearl had a heart attack. I love random humor. But I did one of my own, I was walking with him, and he had red hair. and this girl in a chef hat comes up to him and says"Red hair is for losers."
ANd I wanted to stand up to her meanness and I said chef hats were for losers, and she said that they were cool and ran away.

Me being level 95 in runescape I know what all runescape has to offer. The game centers around money making, if you can't make money, you can't buy runes to cast spells, you can't buy arrows, can't buy the armor you want, pretty much everything costs money.
There are alternatives for a cheaper way, like making arrows, runes, armor, etc. but it is a much slower process and it is just more efficient to buy them.
So if you want to make money here are your options:
PK: Player killing is good money but usually only if you know what you're doing. Killing a player will reward you with what they have on them at the time of their death, so you can sell that stuff to make money.
Cutting trees, this is very boring. Some people will cut logs for 1 week straight, 10 hours a day, earning money for the armor they want. A faster and probably the most popular way to make money is to buy the logs these woodcutters are selling, fletch the log into a longbow, and use a magic spell on it to convert it into money, which should earn you a profit.
There are many more ways to make money but 90 percent of them are boring, and you will notice that as your levels increase, so does your demand for money.
Runescape is pretty much based on how much free time you have, not skill. If you want to play for free you have like 5 percent of the whole game to play, being a member costs 5 dollars a month. Another bad thing about the game, there are seemingly endless amounts of 8-12 year olds playing, even though the game is for 13 up. This is VERY BAD, because they can get annoying like ALL THE TIME and repeatedly spam the word NOOB until you feel like poking out your eyeballs!! It would be so much better if the game didn't center around making money. I wanted to be a mage on that game, around my level of 82 or 86 mage, the max being 99, this calls for TONS AND TONS OF MONEY in the MILLIONS just to grow a single level and so I quit the game right there and wish I would of quit sooner.

Lvl 83, Dragon two hander and stuff. The thing with most of the people I read on the first page is that they got bored quickly. True, but if you bypass the first 40 levels or so and make yourself member and understand all of Runescapes functions it is quite a fun game (Yes the graphics aren't as good as alot of other games but then again I don't really care.)

Yeah, Runescape has good gameplay, they just have to stop using FRICKEN Java and use their own clients.

the last time i played that was... when i had windows 98 (F***ing Windows 98!) (2 years ago though)
it got boring but i remember some things that happened to me when i used to play
i use to offer my Adamant Armour to n00bs (the most they ever offered was 25g, they thought it was bronze)
Some guy offered me a bronze war hammer instead of a Adamant one (he also told me to pay 10,000 for bronze and 100,000 for Adamant)
I used to slay cows into Extintion (uh... spellcheck please)
and i used to fool n00bs into thinking they were invincible and bring them to the wild to get pwned by level 100+s

Yea but things like World of Warcraft requires money whether you like it or not. And it ain't cheap.

But overall RS would be something you'd play last. Heh, I play on the school computers because you can't download any free MMORPG onto the computer so runescape is easy.

And if they really want more members, they should do something about the graphics.

I had quit for a long time, but I eventully got back on..............nothing changed except for a few new quests..............the core gameplay hasn't changed at all..........That is probably the worst thing so far with runescape.........They spend so much time making new quests that they forget compleletly about the core gameplay (either that, or they are just lazy, spending effort only on making quests and hoping that the players don't notice that they never update the core gameplay)............

Im tryig to do deasurt treasure , i saw a lvl 50 defet that quest , so im getting prepared for it.......Im doing heros quest now! for the dragon mace! Unlike any other stupid mace the dragon mace makes damadge almost like granite maul and bigger damadge then whip....andd there is no speed disadvantdge!

Im currently in lvl 70 , i train my mage in blue dragons , my range and worriour skills in experaments (i get lvl up fast in experaments!). The reason i train mage on blue dragon is i get dragon bones and ectofuntes them (288 xp ea dragon bone ectofunctus). I get prayer really high then.

The day I asked this question is also the day I started it.
I beat it the next day.

My key for victory?
I'm a cheap person.

I started out on the shadow person, I used bind and fire blasts at him. I only used 3 prayer pots on him.

Next was the ice guy, I used all my restore potions about 3/4 of my food.
Use fire spells on him. (no shiz)
Then after another long walk, I freed the damn trolls.

Then Came the vampire, he was a little too easy......
All I did was use melee protection and air blasts, too easy.

Last was the fire guy, he was the easiest, use melee protect and water spells and then you have it done.

Then came the pyramid run, took 2 tries because I fell through a trap door on the first floor...>.>

Then after talking to the weird looking ghost, I got this and ancient magiks.

Really runescape got really boring after awhile and I got guild wars nightfall. It's loads more fun. But I do have a 54 guy on runescape. Names Axel_6123 I rarely get on but sometimes I do.

I used to play alot, still go on it occasionally. You get used to the graphics after a while, and the quests are pretty fun to complete.

well i use to play it like 2 or 3 years ago but then iono i got bored of it cuz i wasn't rly good and it was weird so i stopped playing but its not rly bad but it isnt rly good either i'd say its a so so game

I played it like, 2 years ago and got bored after I finished most of the -free- quests. Thank God I didn't pay for a membership. Whew! That would have been a total waste.
