I sing when I'm in a good mood... :D

It's quite enjoyable, but not exactly the best thing for me... Kinda brings me down cuz, no matter how hard I try, my singing always ends up horrible... Trust me, I recorded myself and listened to it... It was deleted faster than you can say "woodpecker". XD

Still, I enjoy singing, no matter how badly I suck at it, and I have to for my drama class, anyways... XD

I love singing, but since I'm studying guitar I'm the guitarist in the music-schools band. But I sing in a choir, which is good for my confidence and vocals, and when I'm home alone I sing a lot.

I suck at singing yet when I am alone, I find myself singing some random words about how I feel. I was in chorus until sixth grade, only because we got candy if we answered a question.

Yes, I joined a choir. Not a church choir though... One that focuses on modern day music lol xD

Although my younger sister always puts me down, I never stopped =]

I sing! I am in the band at church. This band is not like hymns and stuff, it's modern Christian music. I am a little nervous about singing, though, but I have been practicing alot lately!

Don't eat milk products before you start to sing. Drink lots f water and tea, if you like it.

Hey, anyone like to write songs? I love it. Whenever I get a thought, I just have to write it down.

Yup, but I sing them, and If I like the tune of the song and the lyrics I randomly make, I run to get a piece of paper and place it somewhere. in the end, I try and arrange it in order, and well, its awesome as long as sounds right in my mind... xD

Does that mean I'm not allowed to eat chocolate before I sing? xD

You can eat chocolate, but not before you sing. It's sticks on your throat and makes you sound really bad. Plus, singing with a chocolate mouth could make your throat sore.

I usually think up of a couple of sentences and write them down. Then I try to think up of something to write down after it. If I can't, I keep the paper with me in my back-pack and whenever I come up with something decent that would fit in the start of the song.

Oh cool! Have you ever tried like getting a version of your favourite song to sing without the singers singing? And then sang the song?

I did it a few times, but I still need to find my comfort voice.

Like karaoke? I haven't really been singing without the singer's voice on background, but I mostly put the volume to the level, where you can't really hear the singer.

Similar to kareoke, but not quite. I have like some songs without the singer singing on my phone and when I'm usually home alone, I'd sing my arse off. But you have to remember the rhythm that the singer is singing in. xD

I like singing along to songs and I did chours for all of my middle school life >< not by choice though. I really like singing, even if I'm awful at it or not. But I can't do high pitch sounds or hold a note for that long due to lack of breath.

My school's choir taught me some thing that you should and shouldn't do before singing. ;D

* Don't eat spicy foods
* Don't eat or drink any dairy products
* Don't yell or scream (at all)
* Don't cough or clear your throat excessively (at all)
* Drink anything with lemon juice in it (lemonade, etc.)
* Drink lots of water
* Don't throw up (no duh XD)
* Drink warm liquids
* ALWAYS warm up. Never "sing cold".

If you do any of these that say you shouldn't do them, then you'll damage your vocal chords. Sometimes before a performance or something, I put a bit of lemon juice in a glass of water and warm it up before drinking it... It tastes horrible but it really helps. XD rofl.

xD I hope I don't sound like a man D: I love signing, it's so fun. Oh and another tip is to roll your neck but not backwards and always do warmups. You can't roll your neck backwards because it hurts your vocal chords.

well, i like singing.

and i can pretty much sing any genre now.

even though , i've had to learn everything by myself....even though , i barely get to use the techs i learn , because ive never sang anything that required that much skill, but i do have the skill.

i wish i could be in a band....

and i like writting music, but when i try to get the notes for it on the piano.....it becomes so hard....to actually "write" the notes and everything.

but i'll get it eventually.
You could find some kind of band-school. Ask your friends or family if they would know any and search for band-schools on the internet.

Do any of you sing with your sisters, so like she sings a song in english and you sing it in example: japanese. I did that last night and we had a blast!
Ofcorse our parents weren't home and all...

Lol, me too. They tell me constantly to stop singing at 1:00 am XD and at school, I just can't stop.

The other day I was in a hall going to my next class, and I was singing a hymn(of course I give it my twist and ad lib) so I sang so loud the classrooms in the hall stopped giving classes to listen, once the bell rang a few minutes later, they were saying "nice concert" and stuff and the teacher started saying things with a musical tone XD.

Several people tell me I should make a CD and work on the music career...its kinda pressuring.

I sing a lot. I usually just sing Jesse Mccartney songs.
As I said before, people have told me that I sound like him.
So, I just try to stick with that. It's getting old now though.

I can't sing good one bit, but I still sing any way for fun.

You can catch me skipping done the road singing those Commercial songs like the FreeCredit ones. xD
