I cant beat Maleficent.......

I cannot beat Maleficent and its really starting to tick me off.....I am only playing kh1 again to get a few clues, and gather up the important facts that have not been explained in to a filed report. Any tips??

i just finished killing her on kh: final mix, trying to get in the swing of things for KH2 FM+ :D
ok, it's easier if you have aero lvl 2. I just kept attacking her & using potions & casting areo when ever i needed to which was a lot, i let donald & goofy do their own thing. if you still have problems lvl up a bit, i think i was lvl 45 when i did her & it was no my first try. but when fighting never try & hide in the vines, i did that once cause i forgot to get areo lvl 2 & i got creamed.

With Maleficent, which form are you talking about?

Human form or dragon form?

it must be dragon cause her human form is really easy.

Y'now, there both very easy. did them 4 timesin 1 hour. not that hard.With Dragon form, sumon Tink.Then its verry easy y'now.

Tinkerbell takes care of her. nothing like constant healing.

If it's about her dragon form, just summon Tink, and spam Fire. (that's what I did.)

Normal form...just attack her with the Keyblade.

Yeah. Power-training solves everything...well, NEARLY everything I suppose. Equip the strongest keychain if you haven't already and shortcut Cure if you haven't done that either.

Ok so in the dragon form make sure you have aero form on whenever you can and summon Tinker Bell if u can. She keeps o giving you small amounts of health but they really help.

Dragon Form - Have beast & Goofy in party with potions and ethers. Go on the trees/vines and wait. Goofy & Beast will deal a lot of damage to her. When she shoots the fire balls at you, just dodge roll back and forth. Rinse & repeat. Every once in a while, if you feel confident, go down and whack her 3-5 times, but then retreat. Heal Goofy and Beast every once in a while too.

Regular Form - Have Goofy & Donald in party. Equip them with potions and ethers. Just keep going at her and attacking her. When she uses the meteors, just run to a side (and heal if needed). Rinse & repeat.

Use Tinkerbell and have beast in your party. When I did it I let my party do all the work while standing on the tallest vine and moving when the fire comes around.

Stay away from her dragon form.

Stay far from her and strike raid from a distance. AVOID HER FIREBALLS--and cure ONLY when necessary. Make sure you have potions, elixers, etc...

And also, be sure that you only attack her close up when you're about to finish her off.

Well, with Normal Maleficent attack her platform when she's floating in the air. When she falls on the ground, she's free for attack, so you might want to have a more offensive party than defensive. Try Goofy and Beast...that's what I did. When she calls upon those weird, blue balls that come out of the walls, run to the near back of the room. You'll notice two dents on either side of the room. Run into either dent very quickly, because the balls can't hit you there. If you know that, then it will be pretty easy to defeat her.
For the dragon, it's a little more complicated. Make sure you have the Strike Raid ability, which you recieve for winning the Hercules Tournament, equipped to Sora. You'll need 2nd level Cure (Cura) and you MUST have it equipped to your Magic Shortcut. It's also a good idea to have the glide ability, but you don't ABSOLUTELY need it unless you know how to time your jumps well. It's a good idea to have Donald and Beast in your party, because Goofy can't help much in this situation. Make sure you have plenty of Ethers, beacuse this will use a lot of your MP. Remember to keep the Tinker Bell summon in mind, because Donald is not always trustworthy to not faint. When the battle begins, glide or jump to the back of the dragon. Leap onto its back and make you're way to the bridge of it's neck. This is where you use Strike Raid to throw your weapon at the dragon's head. Do this continuously until you run out of MP. When you do, use an Ether and keep on going. When the dragon casts the balls of green light that zone in on you, cast Aero on Sora and keep on attacking. When your MP is out and you have no more Ethers, jump off the dragon's back and attack its head the old fashioned way.

firsst battle: get in there, hit with everything youve got. keep your finger neer that cure shortcut. when she says "meteos of kebblestrom, unleash your fury," get into one of the dips in the wall.

second battle: stay back. find one of the vines that curve upward so your a good ten, fifteen off the ground. equip guard. let donald and goofy take care of her. they com back. you dont. when goofy uses mp gift on you, use it to heal them, pack a few good items. when her hp is low enough, use goofys mp gift to activate aero on yourself. jump down, kill the dragon.

Dragon- Dodge Fire and have donald and goofy hit her until her hp is low then go in !Thats wat i did lol!

hmm if she is in her dragon mode summon tinker bell she is alot of help she heals you and if she is gone recast until u defeat her

I'm not an expert, but Tinker Bell help as well as hiding in the tree like things and letting donald and goofy do the work until they pass out
