gameshark version 1 (also known as gameshark version 5) is not a very good version of gameshark. i recommend version 3 or 4.

or a good version of CodeBreaker like V9.3 or higher is good. either way. just make sure you buy from a reliable retailer, like Gamestop or BestBuy.
(i Dont know where they are sold at except GameStop for CB)

I have a ARMAX which is better than gameshark in my opinion my old gameshark was gameshark 2 v1.3 which could not do nearly as much as ARMAX.

I've had experience with both GS and ARMAX. I would have to say that I preferred ARMAX so much more. It was a lot more reliable as well when starting up the game xD

I have that version too, and I prefer my codebreaker v6, unless it's a game that requires v7 or higher. Then I use my GS.

well i have a armax,codebreaker,and gameshark i think cb is the best but good thing i bought my ar at a yard sell for 5.99 in good condtion
