When Lyra and Jordan's uncle call to tell them that they can have his Island for a summer Holiday,they cant wait to go,but things dont seem right when they get there,in their little house,they find somebody has already been there before them,because they've left their things behind,then when they find a puppy,things go from bad to worse as geneticaly inhanced dogs attack them, they dont know why,maybe they just want them off the island, but why would their uncle send them here if he knew what it was like? was it a set-up?

Jordan bounced off the boat first,it rocked slightly
Lyra followed after him,the boat didnt rock as much

"hiya uncle Calum!"lyra called to the black haired man,waiting for them

Casey sprung from the boat with his usual overly energetic flair and landed crouched down on the ground. He quickly got up and turned around just in time to help his sister from the boat.

Elle carefully stepped foot over the edge of the boat and onto the solid land, grateful to have a ground under her feet that didn't rock and sway. The movement had made her feel the most ill she had done since she'd come into her second trimester.

lyra sprinted up to her uncle and threw her arms around him,it'd been years since she saw him last
"so...what've i been missing back home?"

Colexin got off the boat with Vicente.

"Gods, it's been ages since we seen these guys"

"You okay there Elle?" Casey asked, he'd been worried about her a lot recently. She hadn't been doing so good, bouts of depression and all that. A couple of days ago she'd started to talk to him about what he thought happened after you died. And that was a topic that Elle would normally stay far far away from.

"Yeah... I'm fine..." she replied quietly. Though it was more then obvious she wasn't.

"oh...nothing much....cory started walking by himself....jordan got in trouble again....the usual.."Lyra said"you remember Casey and Elle right? and our cousin Alex."lyra said turning to them
he'd seen them once or twice when they were younger"oh yeah....everybody's grown up."

Vicente stretched.."I Can't see why you hid in the lower deck though..."
"I left for food.."
"That doesn't count..." He looked up at Lyra's uncle.."Hey! You've never met me.."

"jordan,c'mere i wanna show you something.."he said jordan folllowed his uncle,he lead him to a garage like bar"see this car? yours."

Colexin stared up at her brother..."Should we be scared?"

Elle looked around briefly before looking back at the floor.

"im not a idiot, i can drive a car..."

"uh...jordders,you need to fix it....it hasnt worked since your dad sunk it..."

alex snorted"jordders?"

"More like Jor-Jor Binks." Casey snickered.

"Har hardy har!"he said "shut it the both of you."

Casey stuck his tongue out at him and blew a raspberry.

"you are such a kid do you know that?"

"well i gotta get going kids....work'll kill me if dont get the....well if i dont go see them..."He said he headed towards a second boat and got in"Have fun"

"I know, and I'm proud of it." Casey grinned cockily. "See ya."

"I know you are but what am I?" Casey taunted, deliberately making himself sound even more juvenile then usual.

"wow....just wow....the come back of the centuray..."jordan said picking his bag up"how ever did you think of it? how can i top that one?"

"Knock it off jordan....leave casey alone."

"He's just jealous." Casey sneered. "After all, it's not everyday someone acting like a pre-schooler makes you use your best come-backs."

"Oh yeah....im sooo jealous..."he rolled his eyes shaking his head and grinning

"quit being a baby jordan."lyra said picking her bags up

"Lets just get moving, okay?"

"Alright." Casey smiled squeezing her hand gently.

"Urgh... way to make me feel even sicker..."

she turned"you still feel ill?"

"One of the joys of pregnancy in my family seems to be an insane amount of morning sickness going all the way through..." Elle laughed weakly.

"oh..."lyra said"it'll be worth it though....once you've got that little baby....right?"

"I doubt it..." Elle mumbled.

"Im telling you....its totaly worth it.trust me."

"Alright..." Elle nodded, though she seriously doubted it was the truth in her case.

"hurry up! i wanna see if he's changed my room!"

Lyra rolled her eyes"trasnlation: i wanna see if my single bed is big enough for me and lisa..."

"Or 'do I have a double bed now'."

"hopefully he doesnt....and if he does....im sleeping outside....im not listening to that noise."

"Tell me about it....he's done it while looking after cory once.....he never did it with him so close again..."

"i know....but thats jordan for you..."she sighed going into the little wodden house

"awsome! double bed! finaly!"the shout came from upstairs

"think that hamock's big enough for me to sleep in?"

"Enough room for me to join you?" Casey said with a look of mortification on his face.

"Just pity Elle and Alex... Well Elle anyway..." Casey muttered, adding in his head: Actually, screw Alex. I don't give a f*ck what happens to him.

"yeah...."she muttered dropping her bag on the floor"i pity everyone...well not Lisa."Lyra had always had a strong dislike for most of her brother's girlfriends,apart from Elle,but this one,she really didnt like,she just got this feeling that she was going to break her brother's heart some way,some how and sooner or later,and she'd kill her when she did.

"Well... Let's get settled in anyway." Casey said as he scanned around the room.

Elle quickly appeared behind them, dropping onto the sofa and making the cushions sink in much more then she was used to. God I'm so fat... She thought as she cringed in embarrassment.

she nodded,picking her bag up again and heading upstairs...

"You want me to carry that?" Casey offered.

Elle sighed and lent back in the seat, gazing up at the ceiling,.

"Nah, i got it...thanks anyways."she said smiling at him

"You sure?" He said following after her.

"Yeah, i know i pack alot...but its not that heavy."

"Okay then..." Casey nodded.

she opend her old room door"weird being back here....havent been here in almost nine years..."

"A awful lot has happened since then..." Casey said as he leant against the wall next to the door, flicking his blonde fringe from his face.

"i know....last time i was here....i didnt have a care in the world.....i was just a little girl...."she said sitting on her bed"now....im a adult...which everything to worry about..."she half laughed

"Being an adult isn't all that bad."

"yes it is....there's families to look after....work...responibilities....and plus we're still in school..."

"But there's things we can do now we couldn't do as kids though." Casey smirked with a perverted grin.

"Trust you to come up with that..."she rolled her eyes,then smiled"but your right...we could do things we can now..."

Meanwhile downstairs Elle was still staring blankly at the ceiling.

alex set in his bag in the corner and went in to the kitchen to look around.

Elle slowly lowered herself onto the sofa and lay down, still gazing upwards.

she shook her head and lay back on the bed,smiling up at him

Casey chuckled as he wandered over to the bed, sitting down on the edge of her bed. He put one of his hands over the other side of her and looked down at her with a bemused grin.

she grinned back"anything you wanna do today? or are we just gonna sit up here till tomorrow? hope its the second one,cos then my darling brother wont bother us....he never comes in here."

"then we'll do that."she said,she could hear jordan coming down the hall,she got a evil grin"and tonight...maybe we could do some stuff...you know the one thing we can do now that we couldnt do when we were kids."she said,she winked,hoping casey'd play along,she enjoyed tormenting jordan this way,then again,so did everyone

"Ooh, I like the sound of that." Casey chuckled as he leaned down to kiss her.

"oh my gawd! thats disgusting!"jordan said"you two did not just say that you were gonna...."he shuddered"gross!"he turned and practicaly ran down the stairs

Casey snorted with laughter. "God your brother is way too easy to wind up."
