After a long and gruelling 74-ish hour process, This battle is done, and i can tell you, its one heck of a battle.
When i first recieved the footage, Cloud won, and it didnt look like he had that much trouble, either. However, after we'd decided to add the death counter to make it fairer things got a lot more intense. as well as having to MAKE the stupid thing, it damn well nearly finished off Cloud, too. And, as you can probably tell, I'm rooting for cloud! The death counter's a little more advanced than it is in KHIIFM+. If Marluxia lands a hit, he removes a point from the counter, same as always. But if he lands an ENTIRE combo, his next combo will double in point-removing. His DM, naturally, Does x4 point removing anyway :p. So yeah, i definately reccomend watching the video! Enthralling til' the last. I just hope you enjoy it as much as i now hate marluxia and his STUPID death counter. and also sony vegas, the MP2 file format, the MP4 file format, and my own memory.

I think Riku will walk over Xemnas if he is in his org coat form, Sora and Roxas... I give an edge to Roxas. Larxene and Sephiroth will be quite an interesting battle. Larxene is fast as hell, but Sephiroth has strenght. And i think that Axel has nothing on Saix battle wise.

I predict either Cloud or Roxas winning it.

boss one can't die, but with his stats increased, ally riku may actually have a chance of beating xemnas :D it all depends on if riku's magic moves help him much or not.

Wow, intense battle, I loved the way that Marluxia used his desperation move almost at the same time as he and cloud were dying. Betwixt and Between was a great place, especially when they got really close to the Betwixt (orange) portal.

limit animations aren't stored in the .mset files, and i never found out where they actually were....
But yeah, he's gonna use his dark aura and dark shield attacks, so he'll be an even match :D

It was a good video, now for some personal critiques. Don't take these harshly, just what I think would make it better.

The overall battle pace seemed sluggish to be blunt, probably because it was filmed/ emulated. Whatever the case, I'd like to see the battles sped up if only a little bit more. Too fast is better than too slow I think.

I thought Cloud got kinda nerfed honestly in that vid, but maybe you had to. In his future fights, I think if you gave him a 6 hit combo while using omnislash (ya know, the 3 horizontal and 3 vertical strikes back to back) kinda like how Ally Cloud does it, then it would be a more threatening attack. He also never used his ground combo, he just Sonic Bladed whenever he was on the ground. It'd make a good recovery/counter combo, or a good follow-up combo after he Sonic Bladed in. Either way, Cloud won't stand a chance against Terra at this rate unless he steps up his game.

I think the Omnislash combo would also be more epic in a smaller arena as well, since it will make him bounce around the arena's walls more.

Such a long time ago I played the game, and while playing it I always used reactions anyway. I'm not the kind of guy to try for an achievement.

That was because of the rendering method, it actually lowed down fps a bit, that's why it looks a bit slowed down. But i guess that's not a Major problem.

Sorry dude, but this 'uploader' has some more problems then not being able to go on the internet. xD. Sorry people, as you've probably noticed i'm in charge of uploading it. Just one thing, I noticed that all of Marly's attacks that actually did damage wasn't included in the doom counter. Why exactly was that? Prime example of this is 5:12-5:14 when Cloud was standing and the circles suddenly appeared causes damage and his counter didn't change at all.

Because it doesn't normally in KHIIFM+, so i didn't add it in.

Also, just to clear things up, the fight was made COMPLETELY fair. just because your character wasn't doing very well, doesn't mean the fight wasnt fair. And after all, it is a battle of skill and cheapness. It isnt always about who's stronger, after all ;)

Oh, it isn't fairness im worried about. I've played with Cloud on my team, so I know how strong he is. Hence why I didn't want him in the tournament. Plus, he only has 3 moves. Not very fun.

I pretty much thought Marluxia would win as well. But i'm not sure about Xemnas winning that easy though. I was attempting to recording the video and testing the code. And Riku dealt alot of blows. All i can say for now is that the next battle WILL be really epic. :D

Wow Xemnas vs Riku next (maybe?). I really hope Riku wins, but I can kind of see Xemnas winning as well so I have no predictions.

This battle was AMAZING. At first it was really slow, but it really helped build it up. Marluxia got amazingly close...the ending was a bit anti-climatic but I still enjoyed watching it.

I think it's not so much that Riku lacks moves, or that he's underpowered, I really think it has more to do with the tournament choice match up. In which case it should be said Riku probably lost fair and square. I assumed this would happen from watching that preview video of Xemnas vs Riku.

If they wanted to be completely fair, and this tournament was actually about determining who was the most powerful fighter (meaning the fights weren't rigged beyond imagination, nerfing some fighters in the process for the sake of the viewer's entertainment) then Riku would have lost hands down to Xemnas, that shield simply put up too much of an obstacle for any of Riku's attacks.

Don't think I'm saying there's anything wrong with those adjustments, I'm just saying that while either choice of recording would be fine, simply that not rigging the fights, (nasty word, honestly I am at a loss for a kinder one) and posting the actual results would be easier to deal with. XD

Also, if you're not going to show the video between Xemnas and Riku, would you be willing to give us a rather detailed play by play of how badly he got owned?? Personally I'm curious as to how it went down.

in actual fact, it wasnt that riku got horrendously owned that stopped us from using him. well, it was, but, there are better reasons:
1. Stat mods Didn't seem to work on him. this means we couldnt make the fight fair at all, not without making the fight 30 seconds long (not exciting at all...)
2. He used potions that didnt exist on himself, even after we removed them all AND his auto potion ability.
3. At any rate, the battle would have been less than 3 minues, even WITH riku's potion spamming tendencies...

there were a few more glitches, but i choose not to mention them.
Also, we by no means rig the fights at all. sorry that a few of you feel that way.

In response to some of those earlier who were defending Cloud in regards to the 'rigging' fights comment which I believe I commented on earlier, I didn't mean literally so that one character would automatically win. That's assuming you associated me with said bull crap.

What I mean to claim by 'rigging' is just what's been done in order to make the battles fair for each contestant. Some characters have had their moves modified in order to make the battles more interesting, which by all means makes sense, though I believe it to be a lot of hard work that I myself would be happy seeing even without said effort being put into it. Not so say that I'm ungrateful, or that I speak for everyone here with what's been said. Simply my take on a complicated situation. I really don't think I'm a hard person to please, so anything that may sound like a complaint is simply my ideas to make it better. Everyone has their own ideas of how to improve something, at the very least these guys are willing to listen.

So no: I'm not saying you rigged the fights (though you may still think so for whatever reason -.-)

And yes: I wholly appreciate what you're doing, and actively wait in anticipation for each consecutive vid. I've been a fan of these vids for over a year now, and I'm glad I could participate in the viewing of said videos.

When you fight Vexen, he summons an Anti-Sora for you to fight. Whether or not this will actually be the case is a differant story.

Now that I actually think about it, that fight would be pretty epic. Heartless vs Nobody. What would make it greater is if they did the Final Form/Anti Form Moveset, Because that was hot stuff from what I can remember.

That brings up another point, did everyone vote Anti-Sora specifically? Or did you just decide on Anti-Sora because of his inability to heal/ damage potential? If they didn't vote specifically Anti-Sora, then maybe we will be seeing him in multiple forms if he manages to advance in the tournament.

Oh, i don't play Fm so i didn't know. I don't think they would have been able to get any dual wielders. It's because of it's second weapon so they couldn't have done final form. And final/anti moveset just takes final's keyblades away.

Three times eh? that's pretty damn epic. Out of curiousity, how long is the battle, and how large is the video's file size? I know that is a limitation on Youtube, so that might be why it won't upload. I'm not entirely sure on this, seeing as you've tried it on other places, but this is the only thing I can think of that would stop it from uploading.

Nope, the video is fine. Its around the 200-300mb and the durance of the video isnt longer then 10 min. So it should be fine. YouTube is just pure fail. :/ Nothing we can do about it this time guys. The video was done even before we wanted to release it.

I'm sorry that you are being impatiant..but i just have to mention this..ITS NOT CLOUD's FAULT. Since its technical problems with YouTube, or either Cloud's Internet. But just so you know, he's working his butt off to get this video up, while you are complaining about the status. You know what a fun battle would be? Demyx versus Zexion. Neither of them are particularly strong, but they both have weird battle styles, so I think it would make for an interesting fight :3

1) Someone complains in a pathetic plea for attention.

These video's are cool and all but it's not like they'll get you off or anything. Obviously there having trouble but it's not the end of the world. Just do something useful with your time.
